They're apolitical for the most part. Given their stance on sharing knowledge and education, they probably step on toes a lot.
Now, now. Theres no need to be so tsundere. You all inevitably submit eventually anyway.Well, I suspect you either have a good supply of mouthwash or just got used to the salty taste by now.
I wish there had been more lines to tell Kreia off. I always have felt the most humorous element about her was the majority of her concerns about helping others and the Force stem from someone who pathologically obsessed with control.
Everybody knows that the Independent ending is the safety net ending. Its ambiguity probably makes it the canon ending. That is my main problem with the "Independent" route and players. Many of these "Independent" players hold the Independent ending as the "perfect" ending and that everything is sunshine and rainbows after that when its anything but. There is no perfect outcome for Vegas and no perfect ending but many players try to put a a black and white outlook on everything when facts in the game tell them otherwise.
I wouldn't say canon. I always got the feeling that New Vegas was suppose to be the last hurrah for the West Coast and that its ending is left to the player. And I hope so because I shudder to think what Bethesda would do to the West Coast and its lore.Everybody knows that the Independent ending is the safety net ending. Here what I think are the pros and cons of each ending:
NCR
Pros: Civilization spreadsHouse
Cons: Corruption spreads
Pros: House has a treaty with NCR. A genius with tech that is advance even for pre-war standards.Yes Man
Cons: House is a dick and would let everything but New Vegas rot.
Pros: Freedom, Power, Riches
Cons: Made enemies with both the NCR and Caesar's Legion, people are too confused of the situation to recognize the Courier as the ruler of New Vegas, the Courier has to deal with the chaos without the Yes Man's help, the Yes Man is definitely going to outlive the Courier.
I would light myself on fire outside of bethesda's offices in protest if they dared to touch the West Coast.I shudder to think what Bethesda would do to the West Coast and its lore.

Hmm I can speculate. The Followers of the Apocalypse are a Pre-War faction, Super Mutants are still being made at Mariposa, half the population of the West Coast is made up of Pre-War ghouls (with full head of hair), NCR are the ultimate good guys with no flaws, the Khans are mindless raiders, Tandi is still alive via Science!, the Vault Dwel-ok I'm gonna stop now this is too much.
That didn't work for Tibet and it isn't going to work for you.I would light myself on fire outside of bethesda's offices in protest if they dared to touch the West Coast.
Bethesda seems contented to never revisit any of the locations. They would probably make it that the Followers of the Apocalypse are connected to the Children of the Atom. First, they would depict the NCR as super good guys, then unapologetic imperialists, then a mix of two that is somehow still unfaithful to its intended interpretation.Hmm I can speculate. I consider FO:NV as the end of Fallout. It neatly ties up the series to a trilogy. I'm confused with Bethesda stance on FO:NV. They sometimes intentionally leave out FO:NV but made a couple of reference to it in FO4.I wouldn't say canon. Also, what is with the protagonist titles in Bethesda's Fallout?
- Lone Wander - travels with friends
- Sole Survivor - not actually the only survivor
