No +Special perk as in FO3 (read before making character)

Humpsalot2

First time out of the vault
Looked through the guide before making character and the only way to improve your SPECIAL is through implants, there are no bobble heads or "ant strength" perks like there were in FO3, so if you want to use a certain weapon or get a certain perk, you need to build a character with sufficient Special, and/or save enough caps to get implants and/or use up one of your perk selections by picking the perk "intense training"

The only perks i saw where follower perks and melee skill perks and the implants.

If anyone finds a "lucky 8 ball (+1 luck if carried in FO3)" or the such please let me know

Hunting rifle "4-6" str needed

not sure what that means, but maybe you can shoot it at 4 and either shoot it better at 6?

Anti-Materiel Rifle "6-8" str needed

a big ass rifle, or sniper rifle, not sure

Sniper rifle "4-6" str needed

Weapon Handling (1 Rank)
Prerequisite: A Strength score below 10.
Weapon strength requirements are now 2 points lower than normal for you.

Makes alot of guns easier to handle, and to reach the required Str needed to use them.

No, you can find perks later on that will boost your SPECIAL attributes.

It is, but you have both those, and the ability to get implants. Mind you, since you only get 15 perks now, taking Intense Training 10 times will limit your options alot, though more SPECIALS are never a bad thing, I can see some perks that would be worth more than "simply" a stat boost.

what I can read sounds really good. Means eventually that skills finally have a meaing so one with high strength will not be suddenly a mix between schwarzeneger and steven hawking.
