The British Nimrod was a modified de Havilland with a few variants. It was a spy, early warning plane that was in operation from late 60's up to 2010. It's replacement the MK2's were cancelled over the usual fuck ups.
Concorde which used Moth's nose was a commercial aircraft. Supersonic, sensation Concorde was banned in America as they were jealous claiming a sonic boom may cause widespread panic, even though Britain said it would fly at <Mach speeds over the country.
