The Fallout Online website is apparently down.

Thanks Dude101.

Addendum: we received word from the Fallout Online crew that Fallout Online is still up and going strong (new clips released a few weeks back) and this release of (outdated) code was a result of an internal dispute of the FOnline crew, which resulted in a split up between the FOnline team and this group, called FOS. We shall report when there's more news.

Interesting to say the least. Thanks for the info

i've personally done it... installed devserver and devclient... a little problems understanding russian language, but finally able to test it... not much to say, just 2 maps i guess... very buggie, but promising...
i liked it, but vanburen techdemo was a lot better if you ask me...

and i have a question... is opened to public to test it... or they want to quit, and launched to the public so somebody else could finish it up?

ps: maybe they've got employed by iply to do the fool?:)

Yeah Van Buren much better.
Any case now anybody have full code and docs, this is good start for individual project.
And we glad give chance anybody.

Works on translation of all documentation and prominent aspects on programming are now conducted. Actually Fodev experiences serious changes at the given stage. In connection with that to developers was not possible to come to a consensus, without bloodshed has not managed. A part of a team the decision was accepted to release development for all who wishes to dare. Other part of developers has disturbed rules of positions Fodev, having organized thus a separate team. In many respects all of us are obliged to the given scandal and we have an opportunity to not wait while will pass years. Henceforth and henceforth all can be made independently. In the future (we hope) it will be opened official Fonline Open Sourse Centre with support, library and consultations and as a forum for all who tries to break.

NMA is biggest Fallout community also are not present any doubts that people from all world become interested in already grown up grain of our updating. To fool anybody we do not gather, these data for professional Moders which in a condition to estimate depth and to understand. It would be desirable to trust that our data will assist to break through a barrier of single moding and to throw out updatings on online level.

Yours faithfully Fodev.
