Well, at first I thought it was a big and bad joke. But...

IF, I say IF this is all true - UGH! To even think of trying to cash in on Fallout - a game built on multiple references to Mad Max trilogy (and comics, novels, and other movies) is ... er... I can't call it plagiarism, so I will just call Interplay stupid (expect more Interplay bashing in upcoming posts, folks). Nothing good will come out of it. As for Brent Freeman, rumored script writer, I have only one thing to say - his MK2 SUCKED.

It is very frustrating for me to see how an incredible game gets lowsy sequel, then gets a suspicious title 'universe', and now gets a movie based on it...

*Sigh* Interplay just keeps trying to milk the Fallout cash cow.. I've always thought low of Interplay, this isn't improving my impression of them.

Yeah... MK2 script writer? MK2 script? WTF?

It may just be me, but as far as i can tell there was no script in MK2.

Fallout Movie

So far all the Video Game based movies have sucked. Mortal Kombat was the closest they have gotten to a cool video game based film. They just handed this Fallout movie off to a dumb ass that made MK2 and a bunch of other dumb movies. I'd be lieing if I said I didn't want a Fallout movie, but I think they could have putten this project in better hands.

1-I think the guy who made Mad Max should make this film.
2-I think the guy who made Planet of the Apes should make this film.
3-I think the guy who made Fallout the Game should make the fucking movie...
4-No, wait, I think Paul Verhoven should make the fucking movie - we never saw any good explosions in the game, now it's payback time!
5-No, wait, I think Brian Fargo can get the script, roll it in a tube and stick it up his ass - then take it out, chew it for a while and get a little idea of what I think about his 'Fallout franchise' idea. Making a movie for Fallout is like making a movie AFTER Jurassic Park or Star Wars games.

BTW, Brian Fargo was one of the creators of Wasteland, did y'know that?
