Working on an invitation for the little one's birthday.

I've got 12 1"x1" images, and want to put it onto a 4x6 document. Problem I have is when I put the images into the new doc, it's taking up most of it.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any advice!

You need to look at the resolution (pixels/inch) on all of the 1"x1" images and if they aren't the same, then shrink the biggest one (pixel wise) to the same dimensions (pixel wise) as the smallest one. Then, when you create your 4x6 new worksheet, make sure that you set the resolution (pixels/inch) to the same number as in your 1x1 images.

I can do a screenshot walkthrough if you'd like.

Check the resolution of an image you want to use by going to Image > Image Size...

Then note the resolution (pixels/inch)

Repeat for all of your images and once you have figured out the lowest resultion, change your larger images to that resolution and make sure that the width and height is what you want.

The dimensions are in pixels here because I forgot to change it to inches but you can go between the two freely. It's a 100 by 100 image at 100 pixels/inch so it's a 1"x1" image (I'm sure you could figure it out but it doesn't hurt to be extra thorough).

Now create a new document and set the height and width to what you want and the resolution to the same that you set your other images.

I would suggest turning on Snap and making sure that it Snaps To... Layers so that it's easier to fit together how you want (assuming you're doing something like I did).

Did that help?

That should help a lot, time for me to go bed, I'll give it a shot in the morning.

Thanks, man!
