Post war Canada

First time out of the vault
Just pondering it, I wonder what it's like. It might be frozen mostly, not sure about Toronto tho, cuz it's been hotter than Texas in the summer. Best thing I can think of is the lack of deathclaws due to the climate, but possibly a more harsh environment for human life.

Makenshi, I don't think he gets it. [BOS Warlord, he thought what you said was funny.]

Post-war Canada? I'd bet the Deathclaws would have a better chance than we would.

Deathclaws were genetically engineered before the war to replace humans in high risk missions. I think they would have made them able to survive in extreme conditions.

No, regular deathclaws are just mutated chameleons.
The intelligent deathclaws in Fallout 2, however, were genetically engineered by the Enclave.

If they're naturally mutated chameleons, why are they in America in the first place? It's not like you see chameleons running around everywhere. You sure they're not just old fashioned lizard mutants?

There are plenty of chameleons in America.

Really? I'm sure there are in exhibits but they aren't wild here right? They're rainforest-savannah types, I thought they were just in Africa and the Middle East.

They're very common household pets. You can be sure that when the bombs started to fly people didn't bother finding them good homes, either leaving them in the cages or setting them free in their yards

That makes sense . . . still seems like a strange species to mutate into a deathclaw.

The history of Deathclaws has always been iffy. They're meant to be mutant lizards, but have fur, go figure! They're more mammal than reptile IMO.

They have fur? I thought only the freaky-ass ones from Tactics did.

The originals were meant to have fur, but the modelers at BlackIsle couldn't make it work with such a small character, so they didn't add the fur.

I'd imagine some sort of polar Yao Guai would be our deathclaw level threat. Polar bears are the biggest land animal in north America If I am correct and treat anything that's not it as a meal. They also use the snow for cover and it's said that if you don't shoot right away, or your dead. They can weigh about 800 kilos. Also moose aren't exactly friendly either.

Well we know Toronto (Ronto) exists still in some form as explained in the Pitt, but I can't imagine it's too much different than the Pitt.

I'd love to see a different country, especially China, in a new Fallout game. The UK would be cool if a landmass from the bottom of England to the top of Scotland could be implemented.
