Humpsalot

Still Mildly Glowing
Info on companion perks and hardcore mode in there as well. Also included in perks are some of the authors comments on how useful perks are in normal and hardcore modes.

And yes if you were wondering, there is no lvl 30 perk listed in guide, ill read up to see if this was to not ruin something or if it was intended.

All in this album, they are all there, but when uploaded they are viewed way out of order, but level requirements are on each picture so shouldnt be a problem. If someone would like to type them out and put them in order feel free to.

Most blurry pictured i retook, so look at the pictures before or after the one you are are if they are not readable.

A few perks start on bottom of page and end at top of page, so those were taken with 2 shots.

Ill have another one of my "perk suggestion guides" up soon, since the last one i did worked well.

ps: i took a peek at the armor/guns and only saw 1.... maybe 2 things that had +1 luck on them, and that was some unique sexy nightware and maybe one other thing, in contrast fallout 3 had lucky shades, 3 dogs headband (i think) ranger armor, plus sexy nighware, so add luck to your build accordingly

I really like the perks that are given during quests or encounters, haven't seen much info about them until now, thanks for this!

wouldn't have any info regarding weapon mods, so far I am not sure if you can simply upgrade any weapon if you have the caps, or you need to find mod-kits to be able to modify your armaments.

Oh goody, the Gunslinger and Quick Draw perks make my dream of making a revolver hero more possible

when I saw Power Armor Training, I almost cried. Why? Why must the world be this way?
I kind of like it. Now you have to do a side quest rather than hang out with the Goody Two Shoes of Steel.

Even if it's a side quest, though-- FO1 and 2 never needed any fancy pants "power armor training." Although I guess that it eliminates the possibility of a Navarro run or other cheaty things, Power armor training just is something that doesn't settle right with me for some reason.

Power armor training is weird for me because it seems like lazy game design. In the original Fallouts, there were only a handful of ways you could get your hands on power armor, that made it more rewarding and believable. However, in Fallout 3, if some one with power armor died near you, you could simply loot their body early in the game. So in Fallout 3, instead of restricting it and making the armor special, it dropped all over the damn place and they had to figure out a way to restrict as an afterthought.

It was one of those rare things that was really irritating for me in F1/2 that I was restricted to loot armor from corpses. It makes some sense from a design standpoint, but not much sense from a standpoint of a common logic. So if it is no armor loot at all or Power Armor Training perk choice, I'm all for the second option.

Well, the thing that I never really liked about being able to loot armor from corpses is that well, to kill that person you have to bypass their armor (aka, ruin it) so to have relatively pristine armor coming off a guy who you exploded to death, it kind of pissed me off.

The way I'd prefer (and I know it'd be annoying to some people) you'd only be able to scavenge bits of armor from corpses and depending on your repair stat, assemble a set of armor with differing levels of protection (ramshackle -> beat-up -> Pristine, you know the drill).

It is only true for a full body armor. For things like, lets say, Leather jacket you can just shoot a guy's head or an arm dealing zero damage to his clothing. Also I agree it would be nice if armor can actually degrade much if you kill it's owner with a bazooka and degrade less if you just shoot him/her to death in a chest with a revolver. So to save the major part of a PA you should go for the eyes etc.

Well, I think broken to 50 and less percent armor in F3 can be considered bits you are wearing. So technically it should not be difficult to implement armor damaging not only on a player character, but also on NPCs. Maybe it's even already in "New Vegas". Or can be modded in.
