This is beyond awesome. :D
I love stuff like this. This is origami for professionals.
Great stuff. Keep us updated.

alec says: :ok:

[crappy site you uploaded those pics to, though  ]

That is awesome. It would look so good on my computer desk next to all my other useless but cool crap. I can't wait to see the finished piece. Awesome

Indeed, that's awesome. Man, I can't wait to see you trying to build the rest of the armor.

wow... just wow...

if you'd have told us in advance, i'd have told you that it would be impossible to get a nice result.

but damn...

Pop-ups, dude. Lousy pop-ups.
Use ImageShack or something.
imageshack is just as bad. use photobucket or something.

I need a bit rest from this insanity, in the meanwhile will build front reflector

Excellent stuff man - so far it looks like the cat made it and you were just taking the photos.

Keep going on it - it's really cool, and is a refreshing break from the usual 3D modelling stuff ;)

thanks for your support

You are crazy. This is awesome! What kind of paper is that? How big are the pages?

Toudi, what paper do you use to put this together?
It doesn't seem to be very thick, but it still manages to hold the shape. I'm confused. Is it around 200 grams?

Yes please. :D

Imageshack ain't bad if you just post fullsized pics (it's actually the best then), but it is sucky if you use the thumbnails. I'll never understand people favouriting Photobucket. IMO, it's the most crappy image hosting site out there. It never works for me. :(

printed on inkjet printer and 160gr/m2 papier for laser printers, its very smooth and strong enough

pics are made with 2MPx cell phone 1600x1200, how max size of pics may I use on post, 800x600/640x480 or smaller?

I shall try my damnedest to do this, but I don't have high hopes.

Excellent work! I'm nowhere near dexterous enough to try this, but I applaud those who are!

what's next? making one that's colored? ;)

imageshack routinely just fails to load properly and you get the ad crap & thumbnail nonsense. photobucket never let me down.

of course, just posting from your own webspace is always better.

hosting doesn't cost much anymore.
