I had the good fortune to see him in concert a couple of times in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He put on a great show both times.

The day when B.E. King passed away I thought - wait, what about B.B. King? Oh, he's all well, playing Lucille and going to hit the big 90 soon.
Too bad that won't happen, at least not in this world. Great artist. It's a shame I didn't listen his music as a kid, despite my father suggesting it. I guess I couldn't feel the blues then, but I do now. What an awful reminder that you've missed someone's entire lifework.
