Is it going to be the original version or updated one?

I think they removed fucking with deathclaw in one of later versions.

I believe they removed a lot of the fetish crap in later versions, not just the deathclaw thing. But some people, and i believe Ranger as well, saved the original version of the mod that had all the fetish stuff.

If she did save the original version of it, pretty sure she's gonna play that. The mod without all the fetish is, can't think of a better word, boring.

Oh, I have the original, uncut version. I made sure to download that fucker before they deleted it. The Codex also has it saved too. We will be going through all the degeneracy. From deathclaw fucking to hypersexualize snake people to enslaving a mentally ill barely legal teenager into your sex slave. We will be playing it all!
 
I think the devs are completely rewriting the NCR campaign for this mod. Honestly I think who is ever left on the dev team should just abandon this mod.

Mic issues, had nothing but problems streaming that game. Was a pain in the ass plus I never did this before so it is a learning experience. Frontier will be better and more fun to tear apart.
Speaking of, I got everything set to play that bad boy. Come join in with the adventures of Mary Sue (I did name my character that, LMAO!) as she journeys into the frozen wastes of sexual degeneracy.

They're not gonna. The devs said that they are dedicated to proving to the naysayers what they can do.

Oh God, it looks like I may break them. So far many of the people playing this mod and ripping it to shreds have been guys. I am sure that the devs have used the excuse of, "It is just a bunch of Right Wing, sexists, transphobes, bigoted GamerGate supporting men who just hates this mod." The fact that I am a woman (or as the Codex states '''woman''') who is of mixed race (Yaqui and Jew) and has family members who are POC's and LGBTQ they can't use whatever excuses they can with me to shield themselves from criticism. I expect a lot of coping, seething and hate mail coming my way from their Discord.
 
I should note that this is one of those games where everyone has a deep seated reason to hate it and I don't dislike virtually any of those reasons.

I just think it's got terrible gameplay and isn't very fun.

Interesting. What aspects of the gameplay? This doesn't get brought up much.
 
Glad Phipps brought up the gameplay as the devs wanted the gameplay to be the main focus of the Frontier. Everyone, but the devs for the Frontier, knows that New Vegas strength wasn't it's gameplay. It was its dialogue, characters, story, factions and lore. A lot of the gameplay, from what I have seen, is infuriating. They tried to do boss battles with this engine which should tell you right there how badly they failed.

It's still a vast improvement over the previous mod NCR guy made.

I think Alchestbreach did a playthrough of it if anyone's interested.

Ranger Boo handled a lot of it but the biggest thing I noticed is the fact the game weirdly wants to be Call of Duty rather than Fallout. This might seem like I'm referring to the story which is very much military shooter focused with all the ridiculous locations, boss battles, and military focus (okay there is that) but it's the focus on the big action set pieces and fighting that doesn't feel remotely like the Wasteland.

There's also some desperately unfun bits like the space station maze.

Complaining about it's somewhat silly attempts to be dark and edgy "You can enslave someone!" (like in Fallout 2 where you already could) feels like it misses the forest for the trees.

Hehehe... Funny story about that. See, I was almost recruited to be a part of the Frontier team. I was given the honor of seeing the plot synopsis of the early draft of The Frontier. It was a verbatim, beat by beat to the point of plagiarism, copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. If you were wondering why the game feels like it was wanting to be Call of Duty that's because it was.
