Regarding 13 year time limit

First time out of the vault
is there any mod or unoffical patch that i can get to disable or extend the 13 year timelimit?
is there one being made?

or is there anyway to edit a save file to load an expired time limit charecter into an earlier dated game?

thanks in advance for anyones help im in a really tight spot. :D

If you want to finnish everything in fallout 2, it might take some time (thought 13 years is enough to do anything at least twice, but if you take your time...). It would be intersting if there was some extensions to fallout2 (the kind of things that could enlarge the game, new quests, locations...). However, it wouldn't be easy to have something clean (going from 2255 to 2241 is not what i call clean). It would probably require some code modifications and not the easiest...
