Roleplaying

If anyone actually does this shit, PLEASE, record yourself and upload it somewhere so I can blow my brains out after watching it for 30 seconds.

Why? We have editors that came to us from the UESP wiki, where the infamous Oblivion roleplaying page is.

Is the wiki page a joke? It sounds so.. I don't know.. strange.

But now I know why they loved Oblivion so much. All the "cool" stuff was just in their minds.

i read some of the stuff. actually quite funny.

reminds me of my son. give him anything longer than a toothbrush in his hand and he will be facing the baddies in a shoot-out or slicing them up with a laser sword.

the power of imagination. hell, we don't even need the game. we can all just make it up.

Can't imagine when the virtual reality comes in.

Play the game just to travel like in real life. Soon will be shopping, going to sleep which will take the same hours as you sleep in the real life. You will feel pain when they shoot at you, get hungry and then having virtual sex...but still you would be a virgin.

Immersion right? :P

I hope it's a joke.
If you did something ingame that came with unwanted consequences, don't reload the game but deal with those consequences and try to get the things you wanted some other way.

So if I get killed...Game Over?

Just got done un-vandalizing the melee weapon section. Some fucktard deleted it.

well he should have left the rest of it in but deleting the vampire sword is a public service

To urinate.. well.. you'll need a toilet (or a urinal if you're a male character).

I tried that. Instead of taking a piss, my character drank out of the urinal. How dumb is that?

Actually, I think that's about the only part I can agree with. Choice and consequence isn't worth all that much, if you're going to reload everytime you have to deal with consequences you don't like (which doesn't include game ending consequences, obviously). I have to admit, though, that for the most part I'm too weak-minded to deal with negative consequences, so I often end up reloading anyway.

This part does also make sense:

"Character creation If you are playing as a specific person, character or maybe even yourself try to make a look that fits that type of person. Also choose your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and skills according to your character type. Choose what kind of person you want to be: good, bad, neutral, a saint, truly evil, opportunist etc. and act that way. "
