Russia attacks Ukraine

With Americans you can be sure about one thing. They will always do the right thing after they tried everything else.

If there's something ive learned from Andriy. Ukraine, and possibly even the world overestimated Russia's competency in regards to their weapons and equipment maintenance. Its be funny for russia to try to launch a nuclear weapon and it just blows up in the silo and ultimately hurts them

It probably won't start because some general sold of the electronics and the soldiers never bothered to fuel up the rockets.

This does makes an A-10 pilot drooling, or if he's drinking tea for breakfast, Harrier pilot

I wouldnt be surprised if they stole the warheads and sold em off to farmers in Central Asia. They pretty much started a nuclear farmers comission

Well. There is a thing that's called "Highway of Death".

In 1991 2 days before the end of the first Gulf War the Iraqi forces had to retreat from Kuwait after serious defeats by the American lead Coalition Forces. In their retreat they got seriously hit by the US air force. So yeah. Something like that without any serious anti air defence is a field day for any A-10 Pilot.

Just like Clausewitz said, nothing is harder than retreating from an untenable position.

However there are some difference to the Russian convoy. Russia was or is still in the offensive. And they have for the most part air supremacy. And a very large convoy as supply line is not unusual for a "special" operation of that size.

Damn. It looks like Ukrainian forces managed to destroy a Russian landingship in Berdjanks. This would be the first time since WW2 that a Russian/Soviet warship was hit and destroyed.

This is kinda interesting because the Russian military claimed that Berdjanks was a conquered territory. So that Ukrainian forces could actually get close enought to not only engage but also destroy it? Well if what they claim is true of course.

It's almost like Russia was never as badass as they claimed due to lagging behind in the electronic counter measures department due to stealing all the money for fancy yachts.

I am pretty sure Tencent would provide their 'services' much better than those Russian's equivalent.

Electro-information artillery battery...hmm yummy.

I don't know if kicking Russia out of everything is really the smartest move though. People have to remember, as much as supporting Ukraine is "right" now, all this shit will be over one day. And then Russia will still be there. Hopefully without Putin though ... maybe all of this will break his neck. Some sources claim Russia might lose in a few months of fighting in Ukraine more people than the Soviets did in 10 years of their war special operation in Afghanistan.

If Putin is dead, then the local Communist Party will take over. Is that better alternative? More subversive Russia-China 'war' effort?

This will be Putin when all is said and done. It doesn't matter what he accomplishes.

Well, no one knows for certain what would happen. My guess? If Putin really "dissapears" because he had some sudden accident like a stroke or what ever ... then it would mean chaos I think. The first years would probably be not so much about what Russia does on their borders. There would be a lot of infighting, power struggles, the Oligarchs competing with each others over the ruins. Russia would suffer economic instabilities due to the sanctions and being a pariah on the world stage for years not to mention the decades of corruption in their military, administration and politics would really start to get though and a lot more issues being a real strain on Russia and its people. Kinda like the collaps of the Soviet Union was a real dissaster. The standard of living would drop by a lot for the average Russians.

Just my thoughts of course. But usually a drastic change in power - like a coup or something similar - always weakens a dictatorship.
