There's a difference between sof utilising cavalry in coin-operations and a conventional force being demotorized because of a lack of vehicles and fuel.
 
Im hearing Ukraine is gaining ground. around 5-10km. I feel at this rate theyre banking on being damn near 10-20km outside Moscow and demanding they surrender or count on the looming threat of forward invasion itself to turn everyone on the cabinet in Russia against Putin and fracture them
 
It is. But if theyre carrying explosives or ammo then best thing that could happen is a quick death, to it and the soldiers around it when it explodes.

ammo does not detonate from a bullet hit or shell fragments, stop watching stupid movies. if a donkey steps on a landmine, his family won't get huge compensation payment. in addition, if your army does not have any mounted anti-tank units, then you have no right to judge tactics and means.
