What I don't understand is those friggin numbers. Body count seems to surpass what the U.S. lost in 20 years in Afghan country, every month.
So, who is lying?
Are they even lying?
Is a stand up fight between two modern forces that violent? I assume it's a lot different than chasing goat herders through the desert, or Asians in pajamas running through rice paddies. =/
If that's the case, I doubt most of our service members have the stomach for a fight like that. If the fight came to our shores, it'd be a different story, but anyone sending troops to help Ukraine or the Rooskies is sending people who don't want to be there and have no dog in the fight.
Arriving to battle as a bitter force doesn't seem to be a winning strategy but hey, I'm just some asshole on the internet with an opinion.
