looked kinda like the intro of stalker, very nice.
but as someone said, they are too clean.

No, it's a generalized rant about myself. I can't read a word of russian/dutch/slav/others*.

*So i can't play eastern games/understand movies/read books without waiting ages (if the release hit stores), and here is the rant.

Try learning any "Eastern Europe" language. Russian, for example, is very close to Italian.
 
In the same way a lawnmower is very close to being an F-18.

Dude. Russian is a Slavic language. It has jack shit to do with Italian and other Roman languages.
 
Well, my mom's experience as a Russian teacher for Italians says it has much to do. Russian is even easier then English for most.

But let's stop with that. This topic is about the movie, not languages.

I don't think so, I have to learn to write with different characters other then a different grammar and expressions.
French and spanish is more closer afaik, some words are similar to many italian dialect(slang) too.

The trailer is a bit heavy-handed and seems to be doing the whole Lord of the Rings "if we do slow motion close ups on people gawking wide-eyed at the sky and crying then this = quality drama" thing, which I'm not really a fan of, but it looks pretty cool all the same.

This is a pseudo-сyrillic formalized text.
The letter Я is actually R, and the word is Krym -it is an autonomous republic of Ukraine on the northern coast of the Black Sea.

I have to agree with everyone else, it does look like Stalker and less like Fallout. I noticed the wardrobe on the guy resembles the stalker character definitely and also the surroundings too.

also, nice. that was undoubtedly visually impressive. i was not expecting anything near professionalism from the description "fanfilm" to be honest.
 
Just got finished watching it. I thought it was fantastic. Very little Fallout in it, but captured S.T.A.L.K.E.R. excellently. Really good production values too. Definitely gets my vote.
