First time out of the vault
For such a high profile and loved character by fanboys who was brought back from the brink of death and is spoken for how amazing she is in combat it seems a little WTF to not even take the time and make her supposed death a less commonplace incident on a terminal where no details are given just "fell in battle".

Still hoping she was "officially" declared dead by the Brotherhood like Danse was, but was really outcasted and living as a hermit (waiting to make a comeback?).
 
Like I said in another thread, they should have made Sarah the Elder by the time Fallout 4 rolls around. More potential for building her character from an idealistic soldier fighting for the people to a cynical, oppressive leader.

Instead we got "I'm a badass" Maxson.

Maxson and his hipster haircut are literally the worst. A hardened Sarah would have been much more interesting.

By the time Fallout 4 took place, he would have barely been in his early 20's and yet he looks like a 40 year old man for fucks sake (and not just him either this in particular seems to be a running joke in Fallout 4).
 
Bethesda probably forgot she existed (since she´s just a generic NPC), suddendly remembered in late development and just wrote a footnote about what happened to her.
 
or some shit of her being an outcast because Maxson couldn't see eye-to-eye with her on ideals and is with the lone wanderer. Instead she's just a few words on a terminal, but hey, at least Fallout 4 iz gud, roight m8? Most of them Fallout 3 fans still seem to think so.

Unlikely. She was one of the major characters in the main game as well as one of the DLC's that came after, hell the ending game sequence had you running through the Capital Wasteland with her to the purifier. She was one of the potential "scarifies" to turn on the purifier.

Way, way more memorable than the squire kid who I completely forgot about and later became the leader of BoS.

I disagree. Her role could have been played by any other bos npc and she doesn´t do anything important besides shooting, and the run to the purifier is pointless because of liberty prime.
 
Yeah, the whole last mission of Fallout 3 sucked. I tried it, you can do it without really doing anything.
 
They could have officially killed her in the main quest, by activating project purity, while the lone wanderer died smashed by liberty prime feet.

Maxson being a ruthless violent dictator who betrays and destroys Sarah's dream as well as her father's is a pretty good story. It just wasn't developed enough. I really wanted Sarah Lyons as a Companion, though. I liked her as a maybe love interest for the LW too.

At least if they were canonically male and straight.
 
At the ending she hints a possible interest in the Lone Wanderer.

Though I'd rather my (male) Lone Wanderer end up with Moira Brown. She probably knew him a lot better than any other character. I think it'd really make for a highly interesting and eccentric romance.
 
I guess if lyons was incharge the botherhood would have never traveled to the common wealth I guess witch yeah I guess didn't really work out well. Also remeber maxson in fo3 literally was a generic NCP anyway

I always thought the LW would just be alone.
The fact that the only girl he knew growing up doesn't want anything to do with him anymore made him feel like he couldn't trust anyone again.
That kind of betrayal works for me.

The courier is alittle more interesting though I don't know who he would get with maybe veronica or cass but they both don't seem interested but I dunno

But do they actual have sex though ? I mean there are strippers in Gomorrah but other than that one girl you don't to have sex I guess its implied. Westside is where its at though
