BIS employee Sean K. Reynolds has posted on his own forum that Interplay has not been evicted:
Well, Interplay isn't evicted yet.

In any case, I gave notice today.
We've had our disagreements in the past, Sean, but it's still nice to hear you have a strong lead for a new job, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.

Thanks Briosafreak

With this, Sean confirms what two reliable informants, Eragon and kumquatq3, posted before in this thread:
kumquatq3: [quoting source] I talked to some friends there. The info is not totally true. The doors will be open until Friday. But seems like its finally the end

Ergan2004: From what I have heard, the employees have until Friday to move all of their personal possessions out of the Von Karman building.

He says a lot more:

{ Sean, the upper management of IPLY caused the situation.}

I know that. :)

{I'm sorry you're out of job right now and all (though I don't doubt you can make a living writing RPG supplements), but everybody over there must have seen it coming.}

Yeah, we just thought it wouldn't happen until August, rather than April. :/

{ I thought the remaining employees were stuck in limbo because if you quit you can't file for unemployment?}

Apparently you can file if you quit because you aren't getting paid.

Is it just me or is this poetic justice ? I find it hilarious that Sean 'No Bis isn't closed' Reynolds *had* to leave IPLY....*gasp*

I wonder which "unannounced RPG" Sean was working on?

I'm guessing it was either Exaulted (based upon the White Wolf license), or Dark Alliance 3 (minus the D&D license and 3rd Edition rules).

Like when Saddam had to leave Baghdad even though the information minister says, "The city is secure. There are no Americans here..." Right, you just keep on saying that... 8)

The true irony would be if Herve pulled a miracle out of his ass (see the movie "Fifi and the Glory Hole" for an example) and got some funding.

Would SKR turn around and re-apply for his "old" job?

So its the final kick out before the end deny veryfing and maybe everyone will forget. OR its a realy sneaky plan to get everyones atension or something. :idea:
BUT what is the chance of that :?:

It's all part of Herve's master plan! He meant for this to happen! Don't you all see it? He's been stashing money away for years! With everyone gone, he'll now be able to... uhh.. do *something* with the company, I think...

Exactly! Fallout 3 was never cancelled! They kept working on it in total secrecy and shaped it into the most epic, complex and intriguing RPG ever made! In fact, I bet it will be in stores by the end of the month, together with Baldur's Gate 3 and Freespace 3!

*wakes up with a start*

Hey can anyone tell me how did IPLY got broke. I mean they published fall out and other games and now are evikted and stuff like that :?:

Interplay, a company that made most of it's money selling PC games, decided that CONSOLES = LOTSA MONEY. They also thought NAME RECOGNITION > QUALITY TITLES, so they went from making decent PC titles to buggy, hastily made PC titles and finally really crappy console games using PC franchise names.

Either that or you believe the "Herve Caen is an Evil Genius" theory (IE: He's really just ripping the company off and stashing all the money away for his trip to Mexico and a life of luxury).

I vote for the "evil genius" theory - I heard he was making over half a million pesos a year at Interplay!

So maybe the evil genius version is true but if the game is half way finihed another company coud buy it finish it and realease it. :D OR the workers will destroy all the files out of rage and we will be left with a fucking nothing :cry: .
OR somebig shoot investor will give IPLY money and everyone will be happy. :idea:

Well in anyway it has to be a happy ending well ofcourse not for the second part of my future predicsion. :!:

There isn't anything NOW, even without destroying something.
