Sean Reynolds - Joining the fun

It seems that Inertplay has found their new Minister of Information, with his sidekick ShadowPaladin, with Ass-Sucking Quip!

I don't think I'm revealing anything secret by saying my team (not that I'm the head of it or anything like that) is working on a console game (non-D&D, non-Fallout).

Oh? Am I the only one to notice how Interplay is getting a bad rep for shitting out a string of self-clones that feel derivative to each other, are at full price, and are to the point where their media whores aren't giving them the loving praise they want? Changing the theme doesn't mean shit. That is why companies that do well in the console industry, like Square - Enix, try to do better than they did before.

That is how SquareSoft went from making shitty console games like The 3d Battles of World Runner and decided to make something great because otherwise they were going to go tits up.

Now, the Final Fantasy franchise would likely allow Square to outright buy Interplay and Titus if they so chose, from a release date's worth of sales alone.

Note that the original Final Fantasy was hardly anything like the stupid shit Inertplay is going for now.

Rosh -

Yeah, I've noticed that "all of a sudden", mr. Reynolds is making his appearance.

He and SP seem to think everyone should only post "non-biased" messages.

Fuck that.

Keep in mind, Shadowpaladin is quite possibly the stupidest person on the internet. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone dumber than that boy.

It's something, the guy accuses me of posting false information, when I'm posting excerpts from reviews, then goes on about me having an "agenda".

Then he turns around and starts his own spin.

Whatever.

One last thing, he has the most annoying avatar I've ever seen.

You know who Gareth Davies is, Pope_Viper? He was a designer and artist on Fallout Tactics.

ShadowPaladin was arguing with me about the tactics in Fallout Tactics, describing a game mechanics. Gareth Davies jumped in and said what ShadowPaladin said couldn't happen because that's not how the mechanics of the game worked, and went in to several paragraphs of explanation on the subject. ShadowPaladin didn't know who Gareth Davies was, and started telling him that he didn't know what he was talking about and started making up more shit about what you could do in Fallout Tactics.

Finally someone told him that Gareth Davies was a designer of the game. YET SHADOWPALADIN WAS TOO STUPID TO STOP ARGUING. He actually kept on.

That takes a special kind of stupidity, there.

Saint,
No doubt. Knowing that, it certainly puts a new perspective on all of SP's "facts".

Is it just me or does Hades1 come off as being a bitchy little whinger?

I seriously wanted to slap him, his comments aren't very helpful in giving fans credability.

Yes, ShadowPaladin is a suckass, I bet he takes it in the brown by Caen himself....

As for the whole sorry state of affairs? Well, I seriously hope someone does buy the FO3 license, finish the game and make a shit-load of money off it, AND people rub that in Interplay's face.

I honestly can't believe some people can actually defend Interplay's bad business decisions. It's not as if Fallout: POS is guaranteed to sell a million copies.

What is it with stupid people and similar names?

We've got our own problem to deal with: Paladin Solo

Can Iraq become a democracy?

Not likely any time soon.

As with Afghanistan, the large number of factions already causes conflict, while other Arab nations try to destabilize Iraq to damage America and maintain their own power. Many developing world people not only don't want democracy, they don't understand it even if they want it. They need to slowly develop a sense of freedom and equality in a stable political atmosphere so they can go toward first world status.

Actually, Afghanistan has their constitution now. So yes, it is likely, and perhaps soon, maybe within the next six months even.

Just say we did have world peace, democracy everywhere and a sense of the right to have a good standard of living. The world’s resources would be stretched to breaking point and the Yanks would have to lose their wasteful lifestyle (as would the rest of the world boo hoo). No more cheap labour and true free trade would result in America going suicide bomber style and nuking everything to maintain power. However, this is based on the premise that American foreign policy never changes (hasn’t so far) and the world becomes a paradise (before it gets nuked in a few hours of course).

Are you saying you want a nuclear war?

quietfanatic said:
America never learns from its mistakes in foreign policy and always just tries to look after number 1 without taking the rest of the world into account.

Dude, study history more often. Ever hear of Somalia?

quietfanatic said:
They install puppet dictatorships and try to create power balances that keep countries weak while looking after their own interests.

We install dictatorships? Are you retarded?

quietfanatic said:
They are only giving reconstruction contracts to nations that sent military support in Iraq (e.g. no good German engineers aloud) and just want to keep the oil safe.

Riiight, like they wouldn't do the same. Let's let the people who actually supplied Saddam against us and bashed the coalition and hoped for our failure get a piece of the pie? I repeat my question...are you retarded?

quietfanatic said:
But if the US want to the policemen of the world (Bush called Howard deputy sheriff in the Asia Pacific region ha, ha), they have to remain impartial and help the third world, even though it will hurt them to do so.

Like I said, study up on history, read up on Somalia.
The second quote here is particularly amusing as he's demanding people stop being retarded and know their history when it's the opposite way around.

As we have a "SP" here, Saint, I hereby announce that from this point forth ShadowPaladin will be abbreviated by saying...

Lord Assface
