So the X01(APA) makes some NPC's automatically attack you?

So yeah, here I was doing that quest for Zao the pre-war Chinese-Captain-Ghoul-Thing yeah. So he sends me to this factory where a group of raiders called the Forged took it over right. Oh yeah prior to going to the factory you'll meet an old man who asks you to bring back his sword that his son Jake stole from him when he went to join the Forged. You are also given the option to save Jake btw. Anyway so I enter the room wearing my APA and both the raider boss and Jake automatically attack me. So I reload the save game and I go in without the suit, and what do you know instead of automatically attacking me they start a dialog. Does anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug or what? I haven't played much in the other power armor's to tell..

apparently there's a bug if you have the Tesla coil installed on the chest piece, your armor will actually attack people standing near you.
 
Virgil attacked me on sight when I came to check on him wearing APA... But apparently that's a common bug, taking off the armour didn't help. Welp, guess he's dead now. Bloody idiot.
 
Happened to me while helping Bobbi in Goodneighbour. I didn´t have the chance to convince Bobbi to stand down (which it should be possible, I checked the wikia), we were attacked as soon as we came out of the basement. And when it was all over, Bobbi attacked me and the robot-loving guy.
