So who's getting Halo 3 tonight at midnight??

Playing FPS on console isn't hard if you play console exlusively, but for people like me who started with PC FPS a controller is so awkward that it's alot less fun. I'll wait for a PC version...no matter how long it takes.

Fuck Halo 3. Halo 2 was such a fucking disappointment. I honestly don't see what sets these games apart from the gajillion other FPS's out there, and in fact I find them to be much inferior to most of them.

Actually, the transfer to console for FPSseses isn't much of a problem, if you have patience. Actually, I find it more practical in the end, and a lot more casual.
 
well they didn't port halo2 to pc I think.

and halo sucks compared to the action you get in UT
 
I admit I like the story somewhat more then I like the game. Guess Far Cry and S.T.A.L.K.E.R have spoiled me. :/
As for Halo 3 ill wait for the PC version and then play it.

I ain't getting it at midnight... screw waiting in line for hours in front of a goddamn Gamestop. I'm just buying it from Radioshack, because that way I don't have to deal with the crowds (I hope... most people don't even know Radioshack is selling it).

Also, c'mon people, let's keep the mouth-frothing hate outta here. It's fine if you don't like the game, but there's no reason those of us who are looking forward to it shouldn't be able to talk about it a little.

Eh? There's a workaround to make Halo 2 work on XP?
 
I thought Halo was so repetetive and bland single-player wise that I never finished it or got around the sequal. The multiplayer was really entertaining though.

I heard that it's not so bad in the single player department on the console, but I don't have the cash to verify that :)
