Springfield mission help

Not sure if this is the right forum but its tactics and it has to do with the Jona Mod ... I think.

I installed the shadow recruits mod, and the Jona campain mod.
I have just finished the springfield mission, but the problem is there is no exit grid ....? i talked to the 'mayor' he said follow him for a speech but he never moved, and right outside the building should be the grid, I tried everything I could think of.

I opened the mission editor and opened mission08 and there shows a exit grid, so I reloaded and went back to springfield and there was still no exit grid, I am not sure if it has something to do with the triggers or what ... I don't do modding ... but I might start :D

The exit grids should turn on once the mayor has made his speech to the crowd and the leader of the bad guys is dead. But if the mayor is not moving then something has been buggered up.

He should be on player index 26 (Avellone_Mayor) and have a tagname of Avellone.

Does the read me say what they've changed about the mission? Either way if it's something that you've done/haven't done or something that needs fixing you're going to need to start the mission over.
 
Sorry about the last post, I found Mayor Avellones enity,
His Displayname: CORE_m08_Avellone
He had no Tagname, so I put Avellone
and his player index was 0, so I put it to 26.

ok I opened up the map editor and click on Entity, entered 26 in the player field and Avellone popped up, but how do I edit him
 
ok I checked out the mayor, and he is set up like you said so that is all ok, is there a way I can make the exit grid turn on after I kill the head asassin.

You're going to have to replay the map no matter what changes you make, easiest way is to just delete their version and play the original.
 
I just replayed FoT and got the same problem with the Mayor in Springfield. He just stood there. I want back and reloaded a save from earlier in the mission, repeated the last gunbattle, talked to the Mayor, and the second time he did go and give his fine speech. At the time there were no other levels, mods, etc. loaded; it was a new clean load of FoT plus 1.27 patch.

Something in the sequence of events in the last battle maybe? :?: I may have started blowing guys up with grenades before the raider/nut-case guy made his speech about how he would have gotten away with it if the Brotherhood had not shown up. I have in the past had odd things pop up as a result of things happening out of their intended sequence in home-made missions.

The trigger that sends him walking to the town square, also deactivates any enemies that you haven't killed yet. So, though I haven't tried this myself, you could run to the town hall, open the door and run to the mayor and then talk to him and that should deactivate all the assassins.

I don't see any trigger affect the mayor (other than him getting killed) that would prevent his moving to the park. The only other thing that would prevent him moving is if his path is blocked but even then he should make some movement towards his next waypoint.
