Your stats would lower as you went into withdrawals, but, similar to real life, after you get past the withdrawals, you're not physically addicted anymore.jello said:I took too much drugs(i forgot which one) and I got addicted, and I waited a lot of time(like traveling and stuff), and the addiction never got away. I don't remember if I started from scratch or I just kept on playing with my stats lowered...
Edit: Oh right, Jet. I believe you can only cure that by doing the quest line involving talking to the doctor in Vault City's vault about it, getting Myron, talking him up about Jet, admitting that making a cure is possible, then going to the doctor in Vault City's vault again. This requires a sufficiently high science skill (or was it the doctor skill? both?) to talk to Myron and the doctor about it. I believe you get two doses of the cure, which you can give to the doctor in Redding to distribute to complete the quest, as well as take one yourself, if you need it.
Yep. Per's guide discusses the whole thing in detail.Zulu-Echo14 said:Yeah, I talked to Myron about how Jet is made (with the Brahmin shit and all) but I don't have him right now, does it still work?
I can't decide if that's stupid or excellent roleplaying.Nightling said:ran into a group of travelers out in the desert. I figured they looked like they would have some good stuff, so I killed them.

When I got to the Hub again all the cops were attacking me. I didn't realize why for two days then I remembered the Patrol I shot up before I got to the hub.
Started a fight with the Duntons in Klamath, and got killed by the whole town.
Did they radio to Hub that they are attacked or something like that?Nightling said:ran into a group of travelers out in the desert. The same way that Marcus yells through half the wasteland 'Hey! Broken Hills! The Vault Dweller attacked me when I wasn't in his party! Avenge me you lot!'Sorrow said:Did they radio to Hub that they are attacked or something like that?
