Well, considering I paid what amounts to 4$ for Fallout 1 and 2, it'll be tough for AoD to beat such a value-for-money ratio.

You didn't pay $4 for both Fallout 1 and 2 when they were brand-new though, did you? Apples & oranges, and yeah I realize you're joking, but still.

Isn't it a fact that if you like, took the heat of the sun in Fahrenheit and like, exponentially multiplied it by a thousand then multiplied it by the amount of time it takes to traverse the length of planet earth on a push scooter in length of minutes and seconds that you'd get the same amount in a numerical value of how overrated and crappy Final Fantasy 7 is?

I liked FF7, but FFIV & FFVI are both much better. FF7 gets a lot of extra points for being the first 3D Final Fantasy game, as well as being a massive system-seller for Sony.

I hope the RPG aspects are well done, but I'll be happy to pay $50.00 for the TB combat alone. Unlike FO3 where the FPS gameplay pretty much means no sale to me.

I've had no problems so far with Photobucket. If I go over my Monthly Bandwidth, I can always upgrade my account for a measly $3 a month or find a suitable alternative. For anyone interested, I finished browsing the Codex forum this morning. I'm going to take a rest before I plunge into the Iron Tower Studio forums.

I wasn't really talking about the bandwidth. My point was that the format you chose (full-sized picture after full-sized picture listed in a endless column on a single page) is really awful. It takes an ungodly amount of time to load and it's annoying to wade through.

True, but I think most people will be doing something else while the pages load. I do the same thing during downloads. When you put something in the oven, do you stare at the kitchen appliance until the food is ready? No, you go and do something else.

Because it's a mile long? If you're looking for a particular picture, you possibly have to wait for all of them to load. It's not so horrible once they're cached, but then the cache is only temporary, too.

Put simply: what reason is there not to use thumbnails? Those, along with the forum code to display them could be easily auto-generated. (Feel free to drop me a PM over at the Iron Tower forums if you need some help with that)

It's a post-apocalyptic themed game and NMA has interest in that because Fallout is a post-apoc game and who doesn't want more of those?

i get that but it really doesnt have toooo much to do with it in the way of..time period.. right? fallout = 50's this = medeval ages?

its not something i would play, i mean im used to a bit more in the gfx department (FFVII is as far back as i'll go, not including classics)

That's still $5 more than Portal, which is one of the best PC games ever. Just sayin'.

I must have played it for all of 4 hours before completing it, 1 hour of which was spent going wheeeeeeeeee through holes, and as fun as it is, it has no replay value.

So unless you're point is that portal was overpriced, why compare them.
