i·ro·ny /ˈaɪrəni, ˈaɪər-/ P
–noun, plural -nies.

1. the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.

Use of irony is generally conveyed by tone of voice, something a text based medium lacks. In such a medium usually it is appropriate to use some sort of imagery to indicate you're using irony, such as  .

Of course  also has another meaning, a feeling of resignation.

Since you like dictionaries so much...

resignation

noun
1. acceptance of despair

Actually the Majority of the American population has other things on their plates to worry about,

That didn't seem to be a problem when Clinton stuck his tallywhacker in the wrong hole. So that doesn't cut it as an excuse.

Well you have to put into account we impeached him since he went against the constitution, Bush is just an idiot, you can't impeach someone just because he is an idiot, even if we could its not like it would do any good this close to the end of his term.
Thats what I mean by the population has other things on their plates.
We cant worry about the Bush admin any more than we already do.
We have to focus on the next moron to take his place.
No matter what though, if someone runs for president of the U. S. of A. they are an Idiot!

Actually, he wasn't impeached.

BTW, that scandal had very little real importance. It was only politically charged and had little else to do with anything, Clinton's actions had nothing to do with his ability to be president.

It's a shame that the majority of Americans overlooked all of these obvious lies before voting their stupidity.

That's neat, you just ignored half the thread.
Strike two. Keep it up, and you get a temp ban.

Hee *was* impeached, he just didn't get thrown out of office.
