The Conan O'Brien Show

Lost Metal

Olde Skull
I know this isn't as important as some of the other topics that currently occupy this section...

But is anyone as addicted to this show as I am?

And does anyone else notice the uncanny resemblance that he has to Pipboy?

I've been religiously watching this show for as long as I remember, and it just seems to keep getting better with age.

If you've never seen this classic sketch, where the 1950's wandering salesman is throwing his best pitches for various junk items. Try searching for some clips on the internet. It's hilarious.

EDIT: I FOUND THE SKETCHES!

Go here and scroll down to Traveling Salesman 1 & 2

The resemblance is quite amazing, hehe.
I was addicted to that show too, as long as i had NBC :(

I used to watch it all the time, last year. The Walker, Texas Ranger lever was one of the best ideas in television.

Yeah dude their resemblance is limited to hair style at most =)
Conan rocks! Don't have an opportunity to watch it frequently, but the pieces I've seen were real fun. Jay Leno is not bad either.
//since Southpark - Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Conan's face makes me laugh just on sight - without saying anything :D :D :D

God. I haven't seen Conan in months, if not a year. :(

It comes on too late, sirrah. Just kick out Leno and let Conan dominate the late night scene.

Conan is my favorite late-night show, next to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

For those of you who aren't night owls - the previous night's Conan O'Brian show airs on MSNBC around 7PM each evening.

Edit - at least I'm pretty sure it's MSNBC. It used to come on Comedy Central, then it moved to another station. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Yeah, In my opinion, Conan is the best late night show. I love how he degrades his own show. They never should have retired 'coked up werewolf'.

I do enjoy the joy quite a bit. I'm actually going to see a show in May.

Conan's also apparently a nice guy in person, out of his show, although not as funny. One of my sister's friends has a beach house next to his, and that's what they say about him at least. He really needs the atmosphere of his show.

I used to watch Conan every night, but now that I'm in an earlier time zone the show is too late at night for me to watch it now.

Way better than any of the other late-night hosts though.

I am not much into that kinda TV shows, and in my opinion Conan O'Brien is the worst of them...

Oh god Conan, I bought his 10th anniversary show DVD. That was well worth it. (Before I start a new movie... I go out on the streets and beet a hobo to death) I am glad Conan gets the Jay Leno spot 5 years from now. But as he said, "That’s five years from now not tomorrow.
I would say my most favorite moment on his show has to be when he is tracking down his Irish heritage (bye bye hat) or when he goes out stocking hot actresses (Hey there Andy, what are you doing in her bathroom?)
And for those that don't know Conan gets airtime on comedy central too.

lol lousy Sweden and their lousy rock bands... *sobs* and their lousy 100% hot people percentage. *sobs*

Conan rocks. Much better than Leno or Letterman. His bits are actually funny, Letterman and Leno tend to be nothing but annoying in my opinion. All Leterman does is play with his tie and throw pencils at the camera.

The best all time sketch was Max on Max.

I remember that! I was rolling in laughter the instant it came on.

That week long special when he went to Canada was pretty good too.

Also, don''t forget Preparation-H Raymond!

If your butt's not feelin' fine
Raymond's here, Raymond's here
Just squirt this lube on your behind
Raymond's here to help

I liked Triumph the comic insult dog. Is he still on?

It's been probably 3 - 4 months since i seen the show. I remember him being on one episode when he done that week in Canada, but i haven't seen him on since then. Triumph did get his own CD though. I can't tell you if its any good as i haven't heard it. All of Triumphs skits on the show were hilarious though. I remember the one were he went around talking to all the people standing in line to see the new Star Wars movie. At one point he was talking to a pregnant woman, he asked her when the kid was due and she gave him the date, then he said something about that being the last time that kid would ever see vagina. At another point they brought out a Vulcan and he walked around giving the finger to all the Star Wars fans. Funny stuff.

Yeah, it was a good thing he was wearing that long coat, have you ever seen anyone fall for that long?

I like Conan, but I watch Late show with David Letterman more often.
