Trump wins

Can any of you yanks comment on the California secession thing? Is it gaining legitimate traction?
Fuckin no lol
Theres never going to be another secession of any states. The most that's possible is theres a very Republican/Conservative majority is a few counties in Northern California/Oregon that want to split off and be their own state called "Jefferson" so they don't have to get lumped with liberals all the time that's gaining a bit of traction but even that's unlikely.

Personally, I'd like to see to happen. Only because it would be hilarious to see the United States lose its proverbial viper's nest of SJWs, never again elect a democrat and then open their borders to illegals and slowly get transformed into a Mexican territory.

Also, doesn't California get all its water pumped in from neighbouring states? Hopefully, the US would charge them out the ass for it.

I'd just like to see all the SJWs sent to those concentration camps our new evil literally Hitler President-Elect is supposedly going to build :V

Speaking of which....

Farage is the first UK politician to meet with Trump after becoming President-Elect

I'm in Cali and there's not much traction outside of social media.

It's empty rhetoric by people that think voting in Cali alone will get the state to exit the union. Gotta get 2/3 house and 2/3 senate to pass it, and that's just to get secession considered. Finally, after going through all that, you need something like 38/50 states to agree to it.

For perspective, Texas tried to do it when Obama got elected.

They said that Obama is the president that received the most death threats out of all US presidents. Those hill-billy Cletuses don't like no black fella you see. But, not as lethal threats as JFK received. Or Lincoln. Or Garfield. Or some other I forget.

So yea, sometimes US presidents die in office.

Very interesting, and it's weird how I have a lot of contradictory (at times) candidates/politicians I like, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul.

Honestly, I think in a democracy, it's your duty to stay part of a country if you disagree with there policies.

If everyone who disagreed with an election declared independence, then it would be far easier for the decisions they disagreed with to get through, since there would be no opposition to it.

By remaining part of the US, California are remaining part of the democratic system, and therefore they could be the tipping point to preventing similar things in future elections.

Maybe his politics had something to do with that. They didn't like Bubba either and he was one of their kind. Look at the lengths they went to to deligitimize his presidency, they made a literal federal case out of him getting a hummer.
Also, feeble southern dialect bra.

Roosevelt died in office. Lincoln and Kennedy had their brains blown out into their wives' laps. Kind of a distinction.

Besides, I think the lack of social media back then would kind of limit the amount of recorded death threats, no?

Cali is not seceding. The US is like the mafia, you can't just leave.
Of any state, Texas does have some historical grounds due to it's pre-statehood origins.
Realisticllly adding a state like Puerto Rico is more likely than losing one.

Hopefully they secede, then all the undesirable SJWs and followers can go there and nothing of value would be lost.

Do you think this would trigger anybody?

Here it makes sense as Shillary isn't our president.

I certainly feel better about it.

Not GOOD mind you.

But better.

I'm also less than surprised. The US Presidency is all about foreign relations and veto power, not introducing bills. For example, Trump wanting to introduce Term Limits to Congress? HAHAHA. Oh yeah, that's going to get passed.

Or introduced.

Maybe as a joke.

I'll laugh my head off if Trump ends up fucking all his supporters over in one massive rickroll.

I am genuinely confused about everyone on the Left...AND Right thinking that Trump and the Republican party are on the same page.

No, they're really not.

Not even close.

Trump has very left of center politics and his social agenda is centrist at best. The fact he supports any kind of public healthcare is also left of the Republicans. He's also far far right on immigration from them.

Why the Republican candidates got steamrolled.

Actually, I think it's the reverse outside of Fallout. I mean, California is next to the ocean while Nevada...isn't.

I recall a conspiracy theory from really early on during this, before Trump even beat Cruz, which thought that Trump is basically faking the whole thing.

Trump has been traditionally democrat, and supported the Clintons over the years, and then suddenly does an about face and claims he is republican. Which is why the republicans made him sign that pledge that he really was one of them.

I recall many people thinking this whole thing was one massive ruse by Trump because he didn't want the republicans to win. He wanted to win as a republican so no other republican had the chance of doing so, so he could then just basically do back to being a Democrat as the president.
