I wouldn't call theses people liberals. I live in Washington and it is deep blue country here. Many of the liberals here may disagree with you but they will still sit down and have a beer and watch the Seahawks game with ya at the end of the day. My conservative brother favorite teacher is a liberal Democrat and my brother was his favorite student despite them having different views. These SJW types I would classify as collectivist or the "alt left". They think on behalf of the collective becoming offended on others behalf even if that person or group isn't offended by such things. They demonize others for not being a part of the collective going so far as to slander. They will resort to violence in order to get their way. They mostly stick to the universities and colleges but they have become more tribal in their beliefs. They want a one party system, basically they want a dictatorship where their beliefs are law. You mostly see them in the metropolitan areas which is home to the big named universities and colleges. Most dems in the more rural areas like I live aren't like that. Then again most are adults with jobs and are blue collar workers who don't live off mommy and daddy's money to party hardy and wreck shit in the big city.
