VO Recording finished for New Vegas

I've only played the german version of Fallout 3. Is that sentence really in the game?

Feargus: Yeah, exactly. Well, the VO isn't in yet because it’s still getting recorded. There’s a ridiculous number - 63,000 lines of it, which I think is the current count.
 
This isn't entirely true.

There is still some voice acting recording going on out here in California for FO:NV. They're probably just done with the NYC recordings.

EDIT: Now that I reread, it's probably just filler that they're still recording here.

I can't remember this or similar in the german version. It is possible, that it's there in a different form as well, but I am too lazy to check.

I personally have no clue, how this could be translated. "Möge der Stahl mit dir sein!" this would be totally against the name "Brotherhood of Steel", as it's not the brotherhood about steel, but a brotherhood as hard as steel... and so on. (Although I have to say, they translated the name wrong in the german version of Fallout: Tactics. So if you go by the Tactics translation, the sentence could be right and it's about the material 'steel'... What a bullcrap. Compared to Fallout 2 and Tactics, the translation of Fallout 1 was a masterpiece.)

Also look at how annoying Harbinger is. Him repeating those inane lines was a big part of frustration while fighting collectors for me. Whoever it was that came up with the idea of video game enemies shouting stupid shit at you as much as shooting at you, it needs to stop.
