We've got like... years until F5 right?

First time out of the vault
Since we have the time until the next one, why don't we rewrite F4?

I mean change the fact that Nora/Nate dies and write a new Main story line that can trigger off the current events of the original main quest. (I've already written quite a bit on this idea)

Basically F4 always felt like middle school with all the groups trying upgrade from side piece status from the very beginning. I'm saying rewrite a sort of... I've got my own problems main quest, like finding my wife/husband.

I feel like a lot of written social interactions could be so much better without the cringeworthy exchanges that I've seen a trend of... Obviously written by those who may be brilliant at manipulating game mechanics... Not so much familiar wirh the casual nature of an actual social situation.

Fallout 4 have something similar? No, right? So why do you think something can be saved from there?

Just play Fallout 4 as it was designed. A FPS with elements of RPG, like Far Cry 4 and Boderlands. You'll be happier that way.

One can´t launch a game that clearly is not an RPG and say it is one, just because it is written on the cover. This is not how things work ...... I mean, they can even do it, but it is to cover the sun with the sieve.

Yeah, tell that to people who defended Bethesda and proclaimed Fallout 4 as much of an RPG, or even more, as Fallout 1. Bethesda had such an audacity to tag Fallout 4 on Steam exactly as an 'RPG', while Obsidian correctly tag Fallout: New Vegas as 'Action RPG'.

Besides, knowing full well that this game have 'Fallout' written on it, but it's not supposed to be played as an 'RPG' but as a shooter, while previous Fallouts has always been RPGs, so therefore this game is not a Fallout and, therefore, I have no interest in it.

I would say the best start would even to be to scrap Fallout 3 as well and start with a new Fallout designated Fallout 3.

The OP seems to make the same mistake as I once did regarding mod making, not understanding the logistics that are involved when you want to completely remake a game, even if you use the available assets.

Ok not sure what a quest map from what I'm assuming was new vegas' GECK has to do with anything.

LiquidSilver has made some good additional content with Project X. I think he changed a few too many things about crafting but his quests are on point.

They require you to read notes, listen to holotapes and access terminals. Most of the time there's no quest marker beacon to lead you to the next step, you have to figure it out from the clues given.

Anyway... I'm not afraid to write literally everything. So far all I see is people who are afraid of doing something awesome.

At the very least some of you seriously need to send me most of your conversational exchanges before plugging them straight into the game.

The conversations in most mods are incredibly awkward. ESPECIALLY exchanges between two members of the opposite sex.

There is literally never any sort of segway into awkward social interaction that you'd expect from those who's only interaction with the opposite sex comes via a pixelated sprite
