What Resident Evil titles are worth buying?

Hey y'all.

I saw that the entire Resident Evil series is 80% off on Steam until Monday, so I was wondering... which titles would you'd guys recommend? I'm asking so I can make the right purchase, cause I've only heard good reviews for the series up until Resident Evil 5.
Probably didn't need to make a thread for this, but fawk it.
UPDATE: My mom has been sick as a dog since this morning, and we're low on money at the moment, so I can't afford to get any of the titles as of now, RIP. My friend gifted me Resident Evil: Revelations, though. Thank you so much for your guys' recommendations, nonetheless. :smile:

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is okay.

Code Veronica has a lot of backtracking but lots of fun camp.
 
The only ones I played were 1-3 and Code Veronica. I enjoyed them with 2 being my favorite. Since I haven't played the later ones, I can't tell you how good they are.
 
Out of the main series, I would skip five and six. The rest are solid. The remake of the original being the best game in the series.

If you like RE4 you could allways look up the evil within. It had the same feel TBH.

Also RE5 and 6 are only good IF you have someone to play them with, RE5 is shorter and have less stuff to do but most people prefer it over 6.

Also whatever you do stay away from Umbrella corp. People tend to complain about operation racoon city but from what i've seen/heard it's way better even if it isn't something i care about.

Revelations 1 is good with some awesome raid mode. Revelations 2 got better story etc but far worse raid mode IMO.
0-Remake-2-3 is a must. 2 and 3 may be a bit hard to get at least for PC unless you download em?

I used to agree but in the last few years i actually think RE2 is better to be honnest. Remake is a close second tho.
 
I liked the branching "make a decision quickly" aspect of 3, even if you only get to play Jill. I liked all the main series except for 6, which I did not play.

Maybe 5 if you don't mind the huge departure
(I've yet to play RE6, although I have it).
Also 0 and code Veronica.

(I should rebuy 5 and go from 0-6).
 
Everything but 5&6. And the only spinoffs worth owning are dead aim and outbreak file #1 and #2.

My personal favorites are NEMESIS Remake and 4. With NEMESIS being my personal #1.
