What? School's almost here again?

How can this be possible? I started working at a camp back in late May and I just got done there about 3 days ago. How can it be already be August? How can school be just around the corner again? Isn't there justice in the world?

Send me your thoughts about school starting again.

I'm almost done with my class registrations, then I think all my paperwork is done for now.

Oh, and I'm back by the way :twisted:
 
My school is so disorganized. When I payed the first of my tuition payments, I went to get my parking decal, but they weren't in yet. So then I went to the book store and bought my books. But not all the books were in yet either. I gues I'll be running around my first day of classes checking on all that crap.
 
Oh man i don’t even know what to expect. I’m starting Undergraduate freshman year at Loyola (Chicago). So far everything seemed fine regarding registration but who knows what horrors await me on Aug. 25 (the first day). Right now i’m actually looking forward to it. Got a parking spot, cool backpack, debit card (hopefully there’ll be money on it), and it looks like i’ll have a lot of free time. I’ll be done with classes at 2pm most of the time and on lucky days, 11 am. Seems like a lot of time but people keep telling me it wont be. I’m glad i’m not in a dorm room. At orientation we were told that windows should stay closed during the warmer days because an open window might trigger the fire alarm. Yeah…. I decided to save 5 grand and stay in my own room…and not having to share a bathroom with a whole floor. Its something i would have gotten use to i’m sure, but whatever.

Thankfully i have this handy guide to lead the way to college success.

I havn't the slightest idea what's going on, don't know where my classes are, what books I need.. *shrug* it's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World U NO?

yea, my dad sucks cuase we moved at the beginning of the summer... and i didnt get to hang out with any of my friends or my brand spankin new g/f that i had just made like 3 months prior to moving.. so, my summer has sucked ass so far, cant wait to meet people
 
I'm starting NJIT on Sept. 2. That's going to be fun, I hope. Ooh, the center of Newark. I decided to stay at home, as well, and I think I might as well start dorming next year, the way my time looks. I will probably spend more time at college than I will at home.

I hate school and dont want to go back, my school is horrible and I've had terrible experiences there. BUT HEY I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL SO I CAN BE LIKE "HEY DUDE<3 I"M COOL, WANNA BE FRIENDS??? When i got my reigstration stuff, they didn't have it and thought I was new to the school, but i've only been living in this town longer than 90% of the people at the school. Fuckin soccor moms.
 
Yes, my big debut back to NMA and I'm already bitching about school. So anyways, I went to my school today and I did my final registration processes.

Here's a transcript loosely based on what happened.

"So you're continuing your education here?"
"Yup"
"And the state of Wisconsin is paying for your education in Canada?"
"Yup"
"And you want us to provide you with a free note-taker and sign-language interpreter?"
"Yup"
"All done!"

Well, what really happened was about a 30 minute wait in line in a different building for each question, but as for talking, that was pretty much it. Good luck to the rest of ya!

Schools in my country have always started on September 11th...no comment.

This is my final year in school, however, so I'm actually looking forward to it. After that, Uni (and life) begins 8)

My semester started at 25 August and this is my fourth year in University (relax Choro, you'll be here for looooonggggg timeee..... *sigh*)... Nothing new just repeating the last years (heh...heh... what a lazy...) same professors, same class mates, same university, same blah...blah...blah...
The only new here is...

Yess... I got a girl from another University... she's my ex-elementary school friend.. and unlike before, i try to be serious with this one. Well, she's good girl, pretty (altought little bit chubby, but i also got serious weight problems.... Hey! I'm not judging girl from appearance!!!), a good Muslim, and faithfull....
Oh yeah, I'm going to watch movie with her, any suggestion?

Oh BTW, wishx now in my University, he finished his high school... And mr. H move from his unversity to mine. That's mean me, NlS, Mr.H, wishx and TnK now in the same university!!! Thats mean, except the MuHITMAN and the Israeli 3Q (he's not an Israeli, even not a jew, but he looks like an Israeli and people called him that way....) the whole clan are in the same university. The clan are united!!!
And this evening were going to celebrate this by playing Virtual On 2 in the Arcade......
 
That's right, Killa-Killa, I have permission from the almighty Briosa to spam as much as I want! No, all joking aside I was addicted to coming here and posting as much as I could for a while, but that was mostly towards the final exams last year when I was always cooped up studying and needed at least some kind of contact with other people.

Speaking of my "fun posts", what happened to Nuclear Wolf? I thought for sure there'd be at least 20 more threads in The Vats from him waiting for me to read when I came back.

So anyways, an update about my "back to school" experience. I went to my school yesterday to set up getting interpreter services and I found out that all the students will be getting their course schedules later than previously promised. Instead of having them available today, we'll be getting them on the first day of classes instead. So basically I'm probably screwed if I have 8:30 a.m. classes again. *sigh* We'll just have to wait and see I guess.
