What sort of fiction would you like to read?

Ediros

Water Chip? Been There, Done That
To put it simply, I want to write something, but I can not think of anything in perticular.

So, I would like to ask you what sort of thing would you like me to write and then post it here?

The only rule is that it must not be too long, so don't expect me to write more than 30 k words for this fiction at the very best.

You should write a 1st person fanfic about a group of NCR soldiers.
It's up to you what they're going to do.
Or maybe legion. (I've had my fill of the NCR tbh).

That or arcade x male courier
Or veronica x Cass. Make it hot and steamy!

No sex scenes I am afraid, I have never written those, nor do I know how. Also male x male == not gonna happen, like ever.

However, I can make up a comedy or something like this. Legion Troops, huh?

Definitely possible, but hard to do. I mean There is not much about the legion and their activities right?

They: fight in the arena, lay mines, ambush, mount each other frequently, enslave and that about does it. Compared to NCR, who is much more fleshed out. There really isn't much. Still, I might have an idea or two. But I need to iron out the details.

Also, I am afraid I will not post it like tomorrow. I should have it done in less than a week, though.

@Ediros Have you read any of Glen Cook's "Black Company" novels? They are about a mercenary company [army for hire], and they read a bit like Vietnam fiction set in Middle Earth. Similar could be done in the Fallout setting, I'd think.

I read a lot of "People of the" series. Its basically a fictional look at the First Nations' trials in pre-North America written by archaeologists. Ive read about 8 of them. Other than those books I read Gears of war and Battletech

If you want to write something Fallout, I suggest making it small, but original. Say, a trader in the Seattle area is ambushed and left for dead but is saved by a local settlement; they then become heavily involved in the conflict between this settlement and a powerful group of raiders who've been tormenting them lead by your stock magnificent bastard-type villain (perhaps the only character with Power Armour?) culminating in a siege and a confrontation.

Off the top of my head, anyway. Bonus points if the protagonist resolves their problems without violence.

If not Fallout or any other fandom in particular (as I prefer it), my general technique is to come up with a couple or trio of characters, a location and then an interesting conflict they're likely to encounter (i.e. three unsavoury characters in Vegas on their way to bury a dead body).

For simple stories like that, I tend to give characters a flaw, a virtue, a 'fun fact' and a talent, then write on from there. For example, Greg is a compulsive liar with a good eye, a terrible smoking habit and a skill for haggling. Obviously it's best if the character's various features are coherent or at the very least not glaringly contradictory, but you're a smart guy, you knew that.

TL;DR Fallout: Somewhere New or three guys burying a dead body in Vegas

Why not? What are you some kind of homophobe?

Not really, I just prefer girls. That said, I am not against gays, I just do not want to meddle with them.

Also, I really can not picture this. Just because I write, that does not mean I will write anything. I just can not write a romance like this for the life of me, neither I want to. Simple as that.

I can create a good duo of friends, that are like a couple but affection and more, not really my thing.

So you're saying you aren't good at writing romance?

I can create a good duo of friends, that are like a couple but affection and more, not really my thing.

Can you at least work some homosexual tension into that friendship then? Maybe some accidental frottage? A wandering hand during a game of Twister? I'm not asking for the downright dirty stuff like anal prolapses and neckbeards full of cum, but some subtle faggotry would be really appreciated.
Hell, if I were you, I'd throw in a transgender as well. A shemale supermutant or something. You don't want the LGBT community to boycot your prose, trust me. I once wrote a poem that didn't cater to the LGBT community and they tried to give me aids.
Which begs the next question: have you thought about how you are going to represent the richness of our multicultural society in your fiction? I mean: will there be jews in your story? Yes: jews. And what about muslims? You can't have a story without tossing in a muslim or two. You can have them blow things up. They love blowing things up. And you should add some black people as well, for good measure. Nigerians or Ethiopians or Kenians or other blacks whose lives really matter. People love that sort of stuff.
So when can we expect the story? Do you write fast or slow? Do you still use a pen and paper or do you think that's gay? Like if I were to be writing with a pen on a piece of paper and you saw me, would you say: "Stop writing like a faggot, faggot" or would you think it's normal? What's your social security number? Would you say the novel is dead? Are you the guy who wrote that fan fiction about fan fiction? 'Cause that story was meta as fuck and I really enjoyed it.

Okay.

Well, I am not sure if I can answer that, you got me.

So, what would you like me to write, because I am confused.

What do you think about this:

Happy legion adventures.

Featuring:

-Sexual Tension between the men.
-Slavery and its' parti... I mean victims.
-Twenty different races that communicate with each other with no friction at at all.
-Slavery for both woman and men, or else it is sexist.

Story estimation:

-With Requirements like these: NEVER
-Something enjoyable, hopefully this year.

Edit

@Operation Wignut

Not good with SEX, okay with romance. I don't write porn that is all.
