What would you like to see in future DLC?

Personally I'm hoping that I'll be able to get my hands on a Ghost People Hazmat suit at the Big Empty, I was disappointed that you couldn't find one in Dead Money that wasn't fused to a Ghost Person.

I'm also hoping for a DLC that will flesh out the Legion some more and add some more quests or backstory for them, or at least make them seem less pure evil. Siding with the Legion just never seemed as fulfilling as the other paths which is sad because the concept for that faction is great.

So what would you guys like to see?

A Legion DLC.
Nothing can fix them properly, the way they are, but some changes can be done to make them...better.

Yeah I'm hoping that Honest Hearts might flesh them out a little more but I'd really like to see a DLC that adds more to the Legion in the Mojave. They only had about three or four quests which was kind of a disappointment.

The problem is the Legion is only tied to the main story, even their side-quests are related to it, unlike NCR. If you take other factions, like the BoS, the questline is only longer if you side with McNamara, otherwise, is shorter as hell.
I'd prefer some Legion quests like the Followers quests, they are in the middle term of quest duration and influence in NV story.

Perhaps Honest Hearts will fix this. Dead Money, for example, despite the warning saying you have to be level 20 to start the mission can be started in level 11/12 without any problem, you only have to plan your character right.

I'd like to return to California, under Joshua Graham's rule, as he battles NCR with a newly formed army.

Vault 13 could have a few side quests....Overall I think it'd be a good idea.

I would love to see the whole ulysses and the divide thingie thing going on, and to know more about the burning man, i think i read that honest hearts DLC would be about the burning man right?

A Legion NPC that abandons you Boone-style if you're anti-Legion pro-NCR would be cool.

It'd also be nice to see some towns in the Legion. Raul actually makes it sound like living in their territory isn't too bad for most people there and says they're an improvement over the previous anarchy.

Also, Caesar's armor -really- should stop counting as a Legion disguise. If you're running around in his armor then it's pretty much a given you murdered the guy and are wearing it as a trophy. Legion people shouldn't act like it's no big deal that some random soldier is in Caesar's armor nor should NCR get angry that someone's wearing it like a trophy.

You're may be right about the Legion, but NCR? If my great-grandfather had run into Hitler's bunker and shot him in the face, he'd probably still catch some hell if he decided to go out for coffee and pie one day in der fuhrer's dress uniform.

On topic, though, I'm interested in seeing New Canaan. The Mormons have an interesting (if spotty) history and a longstanding tradition of preparedness and survivalism. The pop-sociologist in me would love to see Obsidian's take on how a community like that would've developed after the bomb, especially their relations with the Eastward-fleeing mutants. Would they persecute them, or welcome them into the fold where possible? Would they adhere more to the Christian sentiments most of their modern-day practitioners aspire to, or cleave to the self-serving and xenophobic streak seen in some of the church's past actions? I know they probably won't get too controversial for fear of a public relations dustup, but I'm hoping the situation is a complicated one.

(I'm not saying I want the majority of the DLC, or even much of it, to be "church church churchy church church"-- tensions, history, politicking, etc. I just hope they adequately flesh that aspect of it out.)

I would like to see more geography to cover, more places to see. Perhaps go north or west.

And I would prefer an addition that continues the game rather then just opens up new interior.

Right now I just want the three planned DLCs.

But if they plan to continue after Lonesome Road I would rather see a full blown expansion pack that takes the player into Arizona than immediately yet another DLC.

Perhaps combining ideas they had planned for DLCs taking place Eastwards, mixing them along with a larger main quest.

I'd pay for a poker DLC. Straight up.
Yeah, Poker DLC , it better be Hold 'em though.

While I might not make it completely poker based (there are plenty of online websites where you can play poker), I could imagine a DLC in which the player is invited to join a big poker contest, competing against colorful characters for a massive jackpot.

Perhaps even some morality comes into play as you socialize with your opponents between the matches, finding out why they are participating.
You might even pick up some pointers and learn weaknesses.

There would also have to be some B plots to make the DLC more diverse.

I was disappointed when poker wasn't at any of the casinos.

That's the first thing I went to play when I hit the Tops. I was like, "Great! Blackjack and poker!... and poker! ... and poker? Where are the poker tables?"

I would prefer one larger DLC taking place after or even before (gasp) the main story instead of several small DLC's that all take place in relatively small confined areas.

And god I don't want to see "new mini game", spaceship or über items DLC's.

Well for me at least it was a big disapointment that the poker wasn't implemented.
I think that at some way throu the development the poker was there, I mean we have tables, chips, cards.
And btw it wouldn't be so hard to implement in the existing system.
Ofcourse it would have to be for reasonable price.

Why don't just play poker in real life, or in various other online/offline poker videogames? Do you seriously play New Vegas for the Minigames? What's wrong with you people. :|
