Oh, come on. People need to open their eyes before asking questions. If they found the forum, why can't they find the downloads?

I think Per was trying to make a joke.

Just replace 'brain' with 'file'...

GET IT? EH? EH?

I checked that section and didnt find anything that looked interesting, well except maybe the arroyo-klamath mod.And i was looking for the link to their site......the ones on NMA might not be updated(like the 1.03 patch on NMA kept crashing FO2....turned out it was the bugged 1.03)

A Fresh Install of Fallout 2

I have just installed fallout 2, and installed the child patch. But what more shall I install? I have heard about some locations called Abby and EPA or something similar, what are those? and how do I get them?

If someone could give a good description on what and in which order I should install patches and/or upgrades to get the game as best as posible, I would be grateful :)

There is no "best game" except for the 1.02 patch and children patch. Unless this could somehow be turned into a mod recommendation thread I suggest vattage.

Sorry for posting wrong, but it seemed like the most logical place to post, at least when I read the forum indexes. and to Wooz: ???, at least post something useful :P. I'l check out thoos links, and thanx for the help. It woulød be nice to play through at more "full" FO2 this time ;)

Thanks! Are all of those single mods, or can I use them in unison? (I would guss that they are separate mods, but you never know)

Chances are that neither of those can be used simultaneously with any other one. But feel free to experiment for some unforseeable mod mayhem! :D

I got a little follow up question, I installed th 1.05 patch, but it is it then safe to install the B-Team mod? I noticed the B-Team patc000.dat was significantly smaller? Does this matter?

The 1.05 patch by Celestial, in either of its versions, already contains the b-team mod.

So you don't need to install the b-team if you have it.

I am sorry, but I got some more problems, I tried the Encounter booster to get more encounters so that I do not speed all over the map, but it did not seem to work properly, I followed the instruction given, but still di not change anything? Any ideas?

Where did you put the modified worldmap.txt file?
And what are your settings in fallout2.cfg for master_patches?
