First time out of the vault
::grabs you by the collar and drags you into the thread::

How good of you to stop by for some extended reading. :?:

If you like your stories looong and your Fallout served up as canon (or almost), then you'll probably want to click here:

If you somehow manage to plow through this story and are still feeling feisty afterward, please post a comment. Your input matters. I'm currently working on the second part of the story (cleverly named Book Two), and what you like and don't like is often what will decide what stays or goes. I hope to hear from you - the most loyal and the best fans in the entire gaming community. Thank you.

That's some mighty high praise...especially coming from the Vault Dweller.

Thank you, Jacen. I appreciate it.

WOW!!!! soooooo LONG but still I managed to read a little.
and from what I read its pretty good (your writing style, I cant speak of the story couse I didnt read it al).

the great metter of fact is that its really big for an fan art meaning you "mean busness" hihi :D

good work and u should make a preview to the story if people will like the preview they would like to read all of it ;)

Agh! Another revised version? Maan, I'm never gonna finish this...

Which is not to say you should stop writing, of course. :)

Ahhh, shoot, DSlam...

Yeah, it's been revised (again). Looks like you caught me with my plot holes still intact. I had worked on the prior version under the assumption that all the holes were fixed, and that I could finally move ahead with the story.

Stupid me. What was I thinking?

Anywho, after finding a monstrous hole in the storyline (that I had overlooked for months), I had no choice other than to fix it. Naturally, that led to another proof-reading...and to the insertion of some extra goodies that popped into my head while I was reading. I have a bad habit of doing that. I'm sure it doesn't endear me to those who have read (and then re-read) the story, but I promise that what you read now and in the future will remain unchanged.

In other words, I've finally stopped screwing it up and have left well enough alone. Thanks for reminding me of what I sometimes forget.

Thanks also to you, BigL, for your kind words and your suggestion. If I ever figure out a way to write a synopsis that doesn't come out to short story length, I'll be sure to put it up.

Does anyone know where I can read this story again? Read it years ago and still remember it, and now and then I like to try and search for it.

Does anyone have it on file or something?
