    GameCrush

But the thing is, I'd say the only ones who will make much money will be the ones who 'put out' and go for the 'dirty' session. Who the hell wants to pay close to 7 dollars just to have a female presence for ten minutes? When I wanna play games, I'd rather the missus gets the hell out for an...

    GameCrush

GameCrush... a new service that I just learned about that, in essence, promotes... electronic prostitution? Shouldn't this be illegal or something? http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10470279-1.html WHAT are these guys thinking?

New Ubisoft PC Game DRM Requires Constant Internet - WTF

The first thing I thought when I read this was 'No, because most people want the hard copy. They can either add it to their personal collection, or sell it off again to a used book store.' E-books can be pirated, can't they? Did the rise in e-book popularity hurt any sales? Even though your...

    Daggerfall engine recreation

For those who enjoy Daggerfall to this day and aren't aware of this project, head on over here: http://daggerxl.wordpress.com/ There have been many recreation projects in the past but this is really making some headway! Lucius' overall goal is to get Daggerfall up and running with some...

Would you like to see a new game in the planescape setting?

I think it would go pretty much like Brother None said there. After so many years and in todays industry, I think your wishes (and high hopes) would be answered with something that would be full of things you'd immediately want to retcon and pretend didn't happen (it's painful to have to...

European magazine New Vegas preview listing

Haha, even with the shop (the Fallout series is a tad humorous after all, eh? :)), I think this is one of the coolest magazine covers I've seen, I love it. Would make a good cover for some sort of extra book inside a collectors edition.

Let the Winter Olympic Games Begin!

Looks like I won't be going to class tomorrow morning :P Really though, the game was a sloppy miserable mess! I don't know how USA didn't demolish. When that goal came in at 20 odd seconds left, my living room went UP. We were all sure the game belong to USA, but then... the living room went...

Let the Winter Olympic Games Begin!

I dunno! Maybe I'm still disappointed after Canada lost to the States in the juniors and the Olympics recently, but I think USA will take the gold medal. Though, the fellas have been showing some incredible skill ever since losing to the States 5-3 (blowing out Russia? Wow). Maybe it was a...

    What game was this?

Strife is an excellent game. Have you played it with the new engines out there? Zdoom GL specifically. Adds a whole ton of enhancements to the graphics and minor ones to gameplay. I recently played through all of Doom, Heretic, and Hexen with it. It never ceases to amaze me when I go back to...

More details from PC Games preview

Cool stuff! It's looking like there are a few things coming that will at least improve Bethesda's atrocity favorably (difficult, I know :P). Slow process. Here's to hoping Obsidian teaches them a couple of things before our favorite developers decide to go ahead and tear it all down again with...

    What game was this?

Powerslave! Fun game, I remember feeling as if it was outdated at the time though, despite it being 1996 and being built on the Build engine.

    Stonekeep for the Wii

Gonna be hard for me to be objective about this because on top of enjoying the game, it's also deeply rooted into my nostalgia. I think we all know it's quite easy to say 'bah, that's not even a flaw worth mentioning!' when something reaches that status  But I'll try! One of the...

Duck and Cover interviews Tim Cain

Yeah yeah yeah, I meant on more recent stuff. Why not try to get some Q&A love from Chris about New Vegas (for example), since most don't seem happy with the questions asked by the more mainstream sources. Call me naive on the subject, I don't know much about the process. Hence the question...

Duck and Cover interviews Tim Cain

Question -- Why is it that NMA doesn't interview the key figures involved with the past and future of the series?

    Favourite Genre

Impossible to say, because when most of those genres are done RIGHT, I could enjoy a game from any one of them. Generally. But if I had to choose... cRPG, action RPG, strategy games (Starcraft, Age of Empires, Civilization), and FPS (Half-Life, any game that goes beyond pew pew grafixlawls...

    Stonekeep for the Wii

This announcement is a little bit old now, but I haven't see any talk about it here so I thought I'd bring it up. Apparently, our friends at Interplay are bringing back a game from the golden years... Stonekeep... on the Wii News article I think I might be the only one excited about this...

    CIV V Announced!

Very exciting. Hoping this one will bring some new and interesting things to the table... ...and ditch the cartoony graphics (what is WITH those these days?! Was it Blizzard's fault?). Wasn't a fan of those. Veryyy much preferred the 2D of Civ 2 and 3.
