    I guess the ini file is not created since the game won't run. The text file is a log file which is something different.

    My laptop has an integrated graphics card, which has the latest drivers, but still does not allow AGP texturing acceleration. Do you think that's the problem? I managed to play Civ IV on my comp, and GTA:SA worked like a dream and now I can't run a 'tech-demo' which is older than those two... :(

    I'm quite sure I have 9.0c, but I don't know where to check it. I use WinXP Prof SP2. EDIT: I found a DirectX diagnostics tool. It says I have 9.0c and that all is in order. And it also reminded me that I switched to WinXP HE. :P
