I just tested some things and the problem is that you are an enemy of Gecko. Any idea how this might have happened?

That would be it then. If you kill him all of Gecko goes hostile. Original devs intent I guess.ssgeneral said:hmmm...Well I did waste that big rat down in the "sewers", Brain was it? I didnt like his world domination plans so I gave him a few well aimed head shots.
Well I added a line of code that would display that message when your car runs out of fuel. There is no reason why it would display when it does in your case. I noticed, however, that it would never display when I would run out of gas with the car anyway. In fact, it would NEVER display for me in any case. Everything seems to make sense in the script though... In any case, I have chosen to just remove that line. Here is a new script file for the car: car fixssgeneral said:What about the car running out of fuel?

Yep.
Muncher666 said:I found an odd quirk, nothing big but something you may want to know:
I had an encounter with a group of trappers and some Gold Geckos. Every time I would fire at either the trappers or the geckos, no matter what, even when there wasn't any geckos left, it would say "Ooops, you hit the Gecko instead of the *insert gecko or trapper*".
Strange, but not crippling in the least.
Allan.
Heh. That would be cool. 8)Tom_Sawyer said:Killap they should hire you for QC on Fallout 3
Such questions should be answerable by looking through the corrections list of my patch. But yes, it is now possible to obtain the "best ending" for Gecko by using my patch.Tom_Sawyer said:Quick question and if this has been answered in the previous 90+ pages forgive me: Has the Optimize the Gecko Plant ending been corrected so that you can get the "best ending" for Vault City and Gecko or is this buried in the source code and as such unfixble without access to said code?
Muncher666 said:Sorry to say again man, but another rather crippling bug has appeared.
I just reached Vault City and got the same error as I had upon attempting to enter Trapper Town. Black screen, error sound, had to task manage my way out of Fallout.
Is it possible that it's just me? Everything else up until now (with the exception of the Klamath bug) has been great.
Allan.

Just want to confirm whether downloading one of the full patches does include the latest map fixes or if they must be downloaded separately and added in.
Thanks for all the effort!
Woglinde said:Hey Killap, great work on your patch. I would have gotten this to you sooner, but I've been busy with summer school :/
My FO2 crashes upon entering the Ghost Farm.
Info, although you can just read it from the Pipboy - Went to farm, found Jonny, solved the trade agreement with Modoc. Now all that's left is to pick up Jonny, however upon entering the farm it crashes right after hearing the thunder (or whatever sound that is).
I don't believe it's a driver issue as I could navigate the farm, and every other location, without crashing (even Vault City, without the latest patch.) Now sure how this works, do I email you my save slot? (Made it #9)
killap said:Hmm...yeah, send me the save game. (use the address in the readme) Doesn't sound like a map issue since you say you have already been to the farm. Which version of the patch and what release? (ie what day does the corrections.txt say it was last updated)
killap said:Got it. Yeah, I go to the farm and the game freezes. (no crash like happens when the map is corrupt) Seems like some script is exploding. Interesting. Can you tell me the exact steps you made at Modoc and the farm before encountering this?
