I have a question. Is there a way to lower the SELL price of the items ? I mean if it costs 1500, everyone will always offer you 1500 for it, no more no less, regardless of your barter skill. You always end up swimming in money in the mid part of the game. Brakes the balance, makes most vendors useless (except maybe NCR and SF for miniguns and plasma rifles) and quests rewards frivolous.

If there isn't, here is an idea: dramatically lower the prices of ALL items in protos (eg. power armor for 3000, rocket launcher for 1000, 10mm Pistol for 100) and increase price modifiers of ALL vendors accordingly. This will take changing many scripts and tinkering with balance, but in the end can theoretically revive the Barter skill...

This is indeed a problem. Money is easy to gain.
You could simply put limitation on your gameplay though.

It's just that the mod isn't for me, and I don't want to be forced to choose between using the high-res mod or not using the RP (in which I am generally very interested).

I beleive that in order to fix the maps, all that's required is to have the high resolution mod installed, you don't actually have to play on a higher resolution. You can still play on at the same old default resolution and the maps should work.

I started a stupid game and encountered some bugs:

_ Arroyo: improper dialogue:

_ Den: Although I did not receive Anna quest, uncovering her grave had no effect on my karma (not sure about grave digger title).

_ I broke 2 of my arms (yeah it's me who broke, not those Geckos) and couldn't use spike knuckle, but still was able to punch with my bare fist. Kinda weird.

_ Modoc:
+ Balthas' house: The box in the master room (with double bed) had BB bullets and rocks. While the box in the smaller room (with single bed), which obviously belonged to Jonny had 100+ gold. Those two should be swapped.

_ Ghost farm: I arrived at mid night, after exchanged gibberish with the guard, they started to chase me around. Some of them stopped after a while.

_ Vault City:
+ Curtis quest: one overhead seemed not well suit the stupid character.

Also after returning the doll, if i go somewhere else, later i can find the wrench w/o the need to hang around and eavesdrop Curtis' story.

Edit:
_ Those laser turrets at Vault City obviously are just animations. If they can actually shoot, it'd would be nice.

The problem is not really the price. It's quite realistic, that you get good money for working things. The Problem is, you find to mutch. There should be more useless stuff you can find, because after killing the raiders with hits on the torso, the armor shouldn't be useable, or less durable. This would make the thing more realistic.

I was thinking about this little thing, it's not a bug, but listen to it: There is a monk in Abbey who plays Tragic and you have an option to escort him to Gecko so he can play Tragic with Wooz. So when you do it, you're instantly teleported to Gecko, but without a car, even if you have it, so that means you have to go all the way back to Abbey on foot to get back the car. Why not just use the car to get to Gecko?

Hello boys
I was (with Sulik and Vic) on the way to Vault City from The Den i´ve encountered some Robbers, outside everything was quiet normal but inside the cave they didn´t used their weapons to defend themselves they faught just with bare hands and some of them didn´t even react???

The artwork is finished and ready, but implementing it might take awhile. It’s not a critical element, so its better to focus on the more serious issues…but when RP is running properly, then maybe pulling a gun in Vault City will be the last thing you do.

Looks like you haven't understood my opinion. You must earn most of money by doing quests and maybe hunting, but NOT by selling a few used weapons...

What armor do you mean? I always thought that using lootable armor mods is a cheating (in STALKER also).

Than change it to weapons. I orginated my opinion from the original Fallout 2 and 1, I played often enough. There you find way to many weapons and armors. For example in Fallou1 at the Quest to rescue Tandy.

And otherwise I understand your problem, but probally you don't understand my point.

Weapons must be expansive. If there is no production but high demand, you can sell it for great amounts. Look at for example pc games. Final Fantasy 7 was only produced in an small amount for the pc and now you have to pay sometimes 50-100 Euro für this pc game.

So the normal way would be, finding less weapons and armors, selling these for high money but have to pay more for ammo.
This way, something like the glow would be a way better expirience, because you will be happy to find free ammo and weapons.

There are still some bugs in the Primitive Village. A minor typo when you're doing the trader transaction, if you fail the (Perception?) check when examining the Stimpak crates it says "you detect nothing usual about them", which would suggest they are fake!
And after the transaction your inventory is filled with 26 'Magical blocking hex' items, or something to that effect, which weigh about 14000lbs. I dropped these and tried to use the left exit grid and my game crashed.

How do I collapse the tunnell on Keeng Ra'at?
It wont let me interact with the damaged beams.
Also, every time I try to use the Cat's Paw in New Reno, my game crashes

You have to use the dynamite on the pillars, you'll see a hand icon.

Cats paw is bugged right now, but an upcoming release in May might fix it :)
