Pardon my ignorance but what is RP?
Guess what: I've got a mail from Amazon that they have no idea when they'll receive shipment, if at all. Which means I either have to get it directly from the UK, costing me taxes, or I have to look around in Hungary for a 360 version. Not to mention in general to wait, wait wait. I've waited years for a proper Fallout 3 (Well, as proper as it gets), and reached a level where fuck-all of my patience's left.sea said:Despite it supposedly being out now, it's listed as shipping on the 22nd and apparently it won't arrive until the 26th-28th. Interesting to know that it's not just in Canada that they're having trouble getting it to people on time. I imagine it's a case where US availability is good but then everyone else has to wait for their shipments to arrive. Has bit me in the ass on more than a few occasions.hagren said:I know your pain. Pre-ordered it at Amazon, and it's still listed as "Unsent" even though they should have sent it in time for its release date. Cheeky bastards as they are they simply removed the release date that was set before I placed my pre-order (Uk uncut version from amazon.de). Given that it takes around 3 days for packages to ship from Germany to Austria, I won't get it this week if they won't ship it tomorrow morning.

I have seen those speedruns, they are interesting, but I would never play a game that way.

They should know better.
That said, I'm tempted to give it a spin afterall... Was not really interested in it all anymore, but now I'm somewhat on the fence after reading that.
The game seems to have a lot of good parts inside. BUT, I will wait for the first patch to come out simply cause of This: Problems with save gamesSuAside said:Not a sentence I expected from Canard PC...Because if you're not too tight-assed and have accepted the first-person view (and realtime/FPS/VATS crappy slowmo)

Really confusing too, since it doesn't let me track the order (though it's listed on the UPS web site).hagren said:Guess what: I've got a mail from Amazon that they have no idea when they'll receive shipment, if at all. It seems to be only a Steam related issue so far.PaladinHeart said:Is it just a problem when buying from Steam or all New Vegas installations?
Probably some reviewers visit NMA and they've written what we wanted to hear ;P. In all seriousness though I'll give Obsidian the benefit of the doubt and wait with my judgement until I actually play the game. With F3 I didn't even need it, I've seen quests, stupid locations and dozens of other stupid things. Here playing might actually be worth my time.sea said:Anyone notice how these impressions are actually relevant to things that RPG fans are interested in, like a consistent universe, good writing, choice and consequence, and balanced mechanics, instead of things like "the combat is more fun and the graphics are nice"? I know this is irony, but some video game reviewers didn't discover video gaming with Halo, and some also have a decent enough literary education that they can analyze a game and distinguish genuine profoundness from pseudo-philosophical babble.Goral said:Probably some reviewers visit NMA and they've written what we wanted to hear ;P.
