I am halfway surprised he didn't try to rob the vendotron.

THIS is what's allowing you to make that decision? THIS and not the countless amount of stuff we've read and heard about thus far? If you're so unconvinced that $60 is going to be well spent, why not just wait and see how people whose opinions you trust say? I'd also assume that if you care enough about Fallout to post at this site it's worth $60 just to, y'know, actually play it yourself and come to a conclusion on your own.

watching the second guy walk through Freeside. Fantastic job on the atmosphere. Music far off in the distance, kids running down the streets, the lights of vegas in the background. Actually feels alive.

Love the guys reaction to the credit check. "Duh, what? I hit you with hammer!"
 
well, whatever gets y'all off i guess. i don't get it, but c'est la vie. i'll probably not bother postin' much in NMA or the interwebz for the next little while for fear of spoilers and not wanting others' opinions to really get in the way of forming my own...so, best of luck to everybody that we get a good game out of all this!

In a realistic fashion I can see that being a pretty viable tactic, but I don't even think the robot went in to combat mode.
