i prefer human enemies to any insects or animals.
Most of all, humans have more items to loot lol..
But i don't understand why all the mutated insects and animals are so strong? of course small geckos or ordinary radscorpions are not problems, but GIANT geckos or scorpions are horrible. Sometimes they are harder to kill than deathclaws. (deathclaw's attack is vicious but it can be killed easily with AM rifle)
fallout3 has kinda...balanced(?) enemy system.. like they were categorized by size and power. Enclaves are strongest =deathclaws>>brotherhood of steel>>mercenaries>>raiders>>radscorpions>>geckos...etc,.
So it was easy to decide how to attack which.
But in fallout NV, giant radscorpions are stronger and nastier than legion assassins. Caesar assassins are hard to beat, but easier than giant mutated animals or insects.
For me, it was easier to kill legate(forgot the name..the last enemy in Hoover dam) than giant geckos in DLC.
This is annoying.. not only there's not much too loot after i killed them, but how can even super mutants are weaker than this animals and insects?
I know, in original fallout series of interplay, geckos and insects were stronger than human. (fire gecko was my nightmare in fallout 2)
But in 3D version it kinda feels unbalanced and unrealistic and annoying to play. i guess Fallout 3 system was better in battle and enemy balancing.
Personal opinion..
