They also mention the game will have an in-depth world, and that you're being hunted by something mysterious and dark.

Like Rage, made by ID, not Beth.
Also, it uses ID Tech 5, not any shitty Beth engine (TES & FO3/NV).

the engine that bethesda uses is not shitty. and it is not theirs.

the current one is using the engine not from 2012, but from 2005 version.
bethesda does not license the most recent.
fallout 3 was the first game in the 2005 engine for bethesda. skyrim is the 2nd.
beth rarely purchases new licenses, and usually makes several games off a specific version. usually after the makers of it tell beth they wont support their old version anymore.
it is a really good engine, its just that bethesdas ability is shitty.
aenemic said:Not entirely true, Skyrim uses Creation Engine which is developed by Bethesda. But from what I understand, it's merely a modified version of the Gamebryo engine. Still not correct to say it's the 2005 Gamebryo engine however.
Agreed. For instance, Defense Grid: The Awakening or Civilization IV speaks for itself.TheWesDude said:it is a really good engine, its just that bethesdas ability is shitty.
