Here are the scans of the 10-page PC Games preview for those that speak German. If not, you should still take a look as there's a few new images, including of weapon modifications.

Yes, the preview is much better. I just found one error that is more a kind of typo or accident than shitty research.

Anyway, diggin' the return of weapon mods. Also, I think Strength requirements are in. The Vigour Test thing mentions "How easily a cowboy holds his saddle bag or bigger guns" or something like that.
 
Very nice scans! Too bad I can't read German well enough to understand it. It's good to see some fresh screenshots though. :)

It looks like the most well-informed article so far, it has small sections about NWN2, KotOR2, Alpha Protocol and Fallout 1 and 2 within it.

So, .45 and 9mm on the handguns so far, that I've seen. Finally getting the extended mag on that will be nice, on 'hardcore' of course. 8-)
 
Btw. they speculate that it might be not possible to modify unique weapons.
 
As you can see on one of the pages, they are talking about the roots of Obsidian and how they were involved in creating Fallout 1/2.
It's well written, by far better than the OXM hype.

They are even mentioning that Avellone wrote the Fallout Bible.
 
Nice article. They seems to hint it will be more about a postapocalyptic western than about a fallout one thought. But maybe the wild west wasn't very modern...

How curious, I see the same screenshots, but I'm not that disappointed with them as the first time I saw them. They seem much better descripted(with those little description boxes pointing each element), and I'm happy that they compared the skinning of Fallout 3 Ogres to NV mutants. Do they make any statement about this Lexx?

Also, gotta love that there is an interview with CA at the end. And the article should be honored to have an original Fallout screen in one of its pages :)

That's my point, no program can translate something this big without fucking it up. :wink:

Fine by me, all I did was crop it and clean it out a bit. :) I think the scan-lines actually make it look cool.

Anyway, that minigun looks really tiny compared to the other ones. Is it a new, arm-cannon esque thing?
