Russia attacks Ukraine

Originally I had the live UN session up on this post, but fuck all that.

Watch this, but skip to 49:10. You'll have to on YouTube to watch it, but it's worth it.

Modern anti tank weapons and guns will make minced meat out of it though.

Zelenskyy told Ronzheimer that he doesn't think Russian President Vladimir Putin "understands at all what is happening."

"I'm sure he has no clue what is actually happening. He has given his order but does not know just how many people die every day and what is happening in reality. How many people, how many children die, how many buildings are destroyed, are burnt to the ground," Zelenskyy said. "He doesn't know about all this and he doesn't want to know. He just needs a result."

That sounds like sucking up to bargain for better terms but idk.

Which will break Putin's heart I am sure.

So, Sweden and Finnland want to join NATO in Summer (apparantly).

What was Putins target in Ukraine again? No NATO membership?

You don't want your neighbors to join NATO so you attack them and then your neighbors want to join NATO. obviously we are dealing with Zero Gravity 7D Chinese Checkers.

Putin's main concern (for now) is the south, Ukraine comes first. Finland in NATO has long been an absolute no-no for Russia, since it pushes NATO presence to right outside of St. Petersburg - but it is still not the same grave danger as percieved by Russia, as a compromised southern flank.

Finnish involvement in NATO is a concern though, because it is - at least according to Russia, one of their little trigger points.

Finland joining NATO should have happened a long time ago but none of these guys know what they are doing because they went to Clown College instead of West Point.

More like the average internet commenter knows less about war than they think they do.

Americans : Why is the jungle talking in Vietnamese?
Russians : Why is the snow talking in Finnish?

Well Finland signed a treaty with the Soviet Union saying they wouldn't join NATO and Soviets would respect their sovereignty. But there are now 2 things to consider. 1: There is no more Soviet Union. 2: Russia invades their neighbors.

What does a treaty with the USSR have to do with Russia? Basically what you said.

Russia likes to say which of treaties the soviets had applied to them and those that don't. hell Russia signed a treaty saying they would respect Ukraine's sovereignty if they gave up their nukes. people only ever talk about how America signed that same treaty but always forget the Russians did too.

The crazy thing is despite using the same ammunition as the Russians, the Russians they kill only have like 60 rounds on them at a time since they were sent in with no Ammo either.
