The Legion is the best option for the wasteland

I feel kind of bad for Mister House. He doesn't have any of the kind of rabid defense of the Enclave or Legion OR NCR and Yes Man.

He's just kind of the neutral option and you never know where you stand with those guys.

The Legion would only be good for citizens and followers of The Legion. The better choice, in my opinion, were to have Mr. House unite the factions of the Mojave into some sort of United State of Nevada. Boomers, Securitrons, and Khans would make up the military & the government would be made up by the Followers and House. Or you could put the Courier in for House to act as the leader. So s/he can live out their days pencil pushing behind a desk.

I know that I'm really late on this but The Twin Mothers made the Bitter Drink. If Legion didn't stumble into the Twin Mothers, Lanius would have gotten them killed off.
(He still has a chance to do that.)
The fact that Lanius was next in line enough reason to give up on the Legion.

That's not official, it's merely because Lanius is a brutal military genius that directly controls the majority of the Legion's military for the push into New Vegas.
 
I'd love to see Vulpes in control.

Searchlight and Nipton prove that he's perfect for whittling down the NCR front lines.

And if the Legion show up in future games they better have trebuchets.

It's hilarious how the Legion has better foreign intelligence then the NCR, Mr House and Independent combined.

The ncr are so competent. Just look at their supply lines into the Mojave. Or their counter-terrorism unit in the largest military installation in the Mojave (getting a stranger to do it). Or their guerrilla war against junkies.

Let's see.

One of their 3 supply lines (the Divide) has been nuked. The second (Long 15) is completely vulnerable. And the third is in the north and runs parallel with a military base armed with artillery.

They hire a stranger to investigate missing supplies and investigate a possible bombing. They also let an infiltrator rise to the rank of captain. Background checks apparently don't exist in the NCR.

And they're losing a war with meth addicts.

Ahh yes, Sarcasm then.

Yeah the NCR are boned. And Mr House can't do shit until he gets someone to power up the Securitron army.
Honestly, while I get it's a stalemate the Legion are in the best position.

If only they had trebuchets to wipe out Camp Golf and advance across the river. With their monorail bombed the Omertas will defeat the NCR presence on the Strip, but will be taken out by the Chairmen. The soldiers at Camp McCarran would be forced to meet the advancing Legion army. Then the soldiers stationed at the dam would choose to abandon their post to assist the McCarran troops, or stay and defend against the second half of the Legion army.

Fucking trebuchets man.

No matter what ending you choose the Omertas are defeated by the Chairmen. Regardless of which side the White Gloves choose, they're only useful for funding a fight- not taking part in it.

They're either annexed by the NCR or Legion, or allowed to continue as normal in House/Independent ending.
