Torment: Tides of Numenera is out

A peaceful playthrough of Wasteland 2 and PoE is incredibly difficult. You can certainly role play a less violent team/character but to actually go out of your way to avoid mobs and mandatory fights is very difficult. Actually you cant do 100% pacifist runs for any of the games I listed...They all have mandatory fights.
That's why I said the games that support it. You can get through Fallout 1 and 2 without combat for the most part, but that's not necessarily the point. The point is if you go this route, the majority of what you will be doing is reading so I don't see why it's an issue here especially when the combat is debatably worse in this game than its spiritual predecessor.

A way to make combat better would be to make the plot related fights winnable. Here´s how:

In the sanctuary instead of the sorrow showing up at full power, it´s a weaker version. It would still be a tough fight (like the lovecraft thing in the cage back circus minor) once it´s defeated the crisis ends (the sorrow monsters disappear with it. The bridge is still destroyed and the pyramid has to be used to evacuate the survivors.

In the bloom, when trying getting acess to the hearth instead of infinite monster spawns, it´s a set number depending how many times the player used the transdimensional scapel to open maws. 3 if none, 5 if used once etc.

In the fortress the sorrow shows up again just like last time. Once defeated, a stronger version shows up (50% more hp and buffed up). The First and her minions could be conviced to keep fighting or just activate the chamber. When defeated again the ressonance chamber is activated.

Mechanically, maybe give jacks and nano weapon skills. The nano would be restricted to the light weapon skill while the jack could get two weapon skills but can only spent one point (to make it an actual jack-of-all-trades).

Even if you went peaceful in fallout 1/2 its not like you don't have to do some exploring and use skills like sneak to get by hostiles.

Also being non lethal in Fallout required actual skill and thinking on the players part, you needed the right build for it. You just need to pass skill checks in Torment and thats incredibly easy to do.

SPOILERS!!!!! AAARRRGGHHHH!!!!
Joking, I don't care about spoilers, but there might be people who does.

(the first) Codex review is out: http://www.rpgcodex.net/content.php?id=10572

Sounds pretty damning. Only just started playing myself and finding it decent enough so far, but then again I never really kept up with the kickstarter that much and did see a lot of people complaining around launch so maybe my expectations were lowered to some degree.
Completely agree with all the interface complaints though, and can also add that I am absolutely infuriated in the moment-to-moment gameplay because you seemingly can't use the map for anything except reference, i.e. double-clicking it doesn't get the game to view a highlighted place on the map and you have to scroll manually to get there.

Also, USE THE DAMN SPOILER TAGS YOU FUCKS

edit
