We're gonna make it to the church on time!

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
If you were wondering what Chris Taylor and the crew at Interplay were doing during this time and if the project is still active, a new Interplay newsletter has been sent with some interesting images :

So what is it? Stupid fanservice or a legitimate spin on a chunk of old Fallout lore? Tell us your opinion.

Thanks, GeneralissimoFurioso.

Preach!!

Chuuuch!! Preach tous Harold!! Show us the way of Bob!!

I suppose this means the Fallout MMO will disregard Fallout 3?

I don't know it's hilarious though. It looks kind of.. half-assed. Is this just a demonstrative piece ?

Lol, it sounds pretty much like Monthy Pyton especially a shrubbery part :D. It also reminded me of a Fallout 1 manual.

No it dosen't really. They worship harold, but that dosen't mean they have harold with them.

Not really impressed, but it's definitely more in line with Harold's beliefs and sense of humor than the FO3 treehuggers.

I really like this.
"Be kind to the smoothskins! One saved the world once!
'Course, they broke it to begin with"

And the list of books at the end:
"Harold and the chosen One : Who really did the Choosing?"

Dark humor is back! Might just be some background story, but i like how it's done.

I doubt Harold condemned this church though. Not his style. :D

No no no! Not random stupid shit again. Isn't Fallout 2, 3 and New Vegas full of it already?

I didn't like it, at all. Maybe I liked a line or two, but in general? nop!

First of all: too long. If it was an attempt at dark humour they should have kept it to a page. For example a flyer saying about the church of harold, with vague details, leaving things at your imagination.

Secondly: dark humour is nice if kept in check, it fits fallout (in my opinion, don't shoot me). That wasn't really dark humour in my opinion, or at least it wasn't successful. It could have been, but it was executed poorly and without real thinking behind it.

Also, it felt like they put stuff in it just for the sake of putting it. Like they were saying: "think! what more can we add?"

PS: if they are really serious about a "church of harold" and itsn't something you can find in the background of the game..................

The first thing that popped into my head when I read this at midnight was wondering how many people this would convince Ghouls are playable in Fallout Online.

Recycling Harold's talking head is a bit lame. Other than that this isn't really grating me, especially keeping the Oasis travesty in mind.
